Jun Synergy BRZ Is the Coolest
I’ve seen a lot of crazy BRZ/GT86/FR-S swaps in my day. I’ve seen NASCAR motors, LS, and quite a few 2JZ swaps. But never have I seen a swap like this one.
This is the JUN Synergy BRZ, and it’s frankly the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t have an LS or 2JZ, but rather a Synergy V8.
For those that don’t know what a Synergy V8 is, don’t worry, I had no idea either. But after some online snooping, I found out that it’s a pair of Kawasaki heads bolted onto a custom V8 crankcase.
If that doesn’t sound insane, let me fill you in on the figures. 362 horsepower at the rear wheels at a screaming 10,680rpm. 10,000rpm people! That’s frankly frightening. That ridiculous rev limit is due entirely to all its motorcycle parts.
Man, I’d love to see this thing drifting. And just imagine the sound!
