Question of the Day: FR-S vs iDX

Rather than an article, I’ve actually come up with a question for you guys today. But first, let’s get up to speed.

Nissan is supposedly readying its iDX Freeflow concept for production next year. It’s set to be a RWD coupe, with a stick, and a price tag under $30,000. The car will have 200 horsepower out of a 1.6L 4 cylinder, and weigh around 2,500lbs.

However, there’s also supposed to be a Nismo tuned version of it coming out with more horsepower, and greater performance.

If Nissan finally goes through with it, and that’s still a big if, would another small, RWD coupe pull you away from the FR-S? How good would it have to be, or how powerful would it have to be to sway your loyalty?

And if Nissan debuts this car, does Toyota need to revamp the FR-S to stay out on top?
