Scion Tuner Challenger 2014: First Glimpses of the Competitors
When I get to SEMA, one of the first places I’m going to stop will be the Scion Booth. The Scion Tuner Challenge always results in some awesome creations, and we now have a first look at what the competitors will be bringing to the show.
Speedhunters—the team I’m unapologetically pulling for—is taking influence from American Grand Am Racing, of all things, which sounds like it’ll be wicked. Super Street is using a Rocket Bunny kit as a jumping off point, and says they’re going to skip supercharging and go for something crazier under the hood. Not sure what that means? But I’m guessing it doesn’t mean LS swap.
GT Channel has enlisted help from Mine’s Motorsport, best know for making fire-breathing GT-Rs, and says function will define its attack on the challenge. I can’t wait to see what these guys come up with! Check out the videos below for an idea of what we can expect to see at SEMA!
