Subaru BRZ Sets World Record for Tightest 360-Degree Spin

It’s been a few years since the FR-S/BRZ twins debuted, and in that time lapse, it seems that everyone has forgotten how well these cars perform. The twin cars have wonderful handling, superb composure, and they look phenomenal. However, you don’t read about them as much these days, and honestly, that’s due to the fact that Toyota and Subaru can’t get their collective things together to make the FR-S/BRZ more powerful.

Thankfully though, there are still those out there preaching the FR-S/BRZ gospel, and one of those includes stunt driver Alastair Moffat, who just set a new world record in a Subaru BRZ. The record in question: the Tightest 360-Degree Spin. Now, this isn’t a donut or anything like that, but rather an at-speed, controlled, 360-degree spin that ends with the Alastair driving off in the direction of travel.

The feat was completed at the Autosport International Live Action Arena, and you can check out the video here. It’s certainly impressive.

Now if only Toyota and Subaru would do something that makes the car better for the average consumer.
