Overall I had a great buying experience. I dealt with Brian from the internet department and did everything except the test drive and final paperwork over the phone or through email.
The only downside to the whole experience was the finance manager lied to me. I am new to Florida so I don't know all of the laws here and they tried to sell me insurance that will pay off the car if I die. I told him I didn't care if they took the car because I would be dead. He told me that in Florida your family becomes responsible for your debts. I told him my family doesn't live in Florida and he said it didn't matter because I am a Florida resident. I later found out this wasn't true and they can only go after your family if they live in the state of Florida. Overall I would buy from them again but just have to watch your back in the finance office but that's the same everywhere you go.
I went into the dealer for an alignment. After waiting 15 minutes to even talk to anyone, no matter who I talked to they contradicted the person before them about what was changable on my car since it was lowered. After completing an hours worth of service in 3 hours, and not calling me to tell me my vehicle was ready, it was worse than when I dropped it off... after having to make a second trip out there and talking to the service supervisor RJ, they did the alignment correctly.
I will never go back to this dealer again.

i bought a scion xb and when i got there, their were 2 xb's and so i went through the car buying process and by the time i finished BOTH WERE GONE!!! mine was luckily on route so i finished and i went and "bought it" and ordered the factory sub (which is VERY over priced!). this was a wednesday. they told me it would be there next wednesday. i was like ok, and my car came in sooner than later, it came in on saturday. it was manual and i was like, oh crap i don't know how to use manual and i got a friend with a 70's truck and learned on that in 2 hrs, and then gave him a ride in my new car. anyway, back to the point, they said the sub would be 2-3 weeks and turned in to 3 months!!! apparently they changed the design and never told me and now it's in the spare compartment in the back. but all in all it was an ok run business.

I only went to David Maus Toyota/Scion because every other Toyota dealership that had Scions either had none, didn’t have a good shopping time, or weren’t in stock. So I drove all the way out Longwood, which is a 35 min. drive from my house just to get my car. Ed H. was my sales rep and he was the best person to help me get my car. He got me a good price only 18149 w/ free satellite radio installed because i had to wait 3 weeks to get my car from jacksonville. He got me an awesome APR of only 5.75% and all others were only going to give me 8.9%. So overall I would recommend going to David Maus and make sure you talk to Ed Haberick if you do buy another Scion, he will get u a good deal.

I went to David Maus a few months back when the tC's had first come out. I was in the market for a new car but wasn't sure what I wanted. I took one for a test drive and during the test drive the sales person asked all the credit questions. I told him that my husband and I would do out financing through our credit union. When we arrived back at the dealership, he insisted that I come inside and take some information about the car back to my husband. As I'm waiting for him to come back, the finance manager comes to me and starts to talk business with me. I told him I wasn't interested in doing anything that night and if I was, it wouldn't be with him. I ended up leaving without any info. I received so many phone calls from the dealership, I filed a complaint with my phone company. I ended up going to Courtesy in Winter Park.

I also talked to Chris at David Maus. He is truely awesome. Of course, he no longer works there. He was one of the reasons why I bought my BCP xB and my GPP xA there. I went there yesterday to check out the tC and was rudely told they didn't have any. I looked for any Scions and they dont have any in stock. Looks like I will be going elsewhere for my tC.
I called David Maus and asked if they had a manual tC on the lot. They said "sure we do. come on in." I drove an hour to get there to learn that they only had automatics. The salesman, Mark, was a complete idiot who knew nothing about the car. They were able to locate the vehicle I wanted and we started to look over the numbers.
The sales manager, Kyle, came and started to back me into a corner. I asked why their dealer fee was so high and he said it was because they do a lot of charity donations. WHY AM I PAYING FOR THE DEALERSHIPS'S CHARITY DONATIONS WITH AN EXTRA $200 ON THE DEALER FEE?
The two guys left for a few minutes and came back. They told me that "A girl is on the phone and she wants to buy the car... do you want it?"
I don't go for cheesy sales tactics... so I said "Tell her she can have it, I am going back to Courtesy Scion."
The next day they call me and tell me that we can negotiate... I told them I was closing the deal at Courtesy and hung up the phone!

David Maus ripped me off. He is a thief, look up his investigation for check fraud in orlando!

David Maus' salesman, Chris, was great. A like-minded guy, with a great knowledge of the car, and a genuine human being. No unctious crap. I liked him, if you go to David Maus (or any other dealership) I doubt you'll find a better guy.
That is until you get to the business manager. Once he discovered I wasn't going to be had by the extra warranties he stopped being nice, and maintained only the barest modicum of decency. Oh well, he's an ex-cop, they never change.
David Maus toyota is a great place, I've got my first two years of oil changes free, and thats fine with me.
My rating numbers involve only Chris because the business manager was only around after i bought the car, and I was only there for about 10 minutes in his office.

This was the original scion dealership I was going to buy my tC at. I was unhappy with their overall run of their business. They couldn't take no for an answer. The two sales people that were worth talking to were Eva, and Chris. I wouldn't recommended buying a scion here. Be patient and look for another dealership. Go to Phillips Scion in leesburg.
