Purchased the xB from Downtown Toyota one day, then went to Jaremko Nissan the next and bought a new Titan Crew. The cars don't really matter in relation to the dealerships, but the service and attention was like night and day; the Scion dealer wanted to sell a toyota, not a Scion. The Nissan guy was very informative, and cooperative. Follow-up after each purchase was again different; Nissan contacted us within a week and asked how the vehicle was, any problems, etc. and I didn't hear from Scion until about 6 weeks later, then it was a manufacturer mailing, not from the dealership.
The good thing is I'd still buy another Scion; but the salesmen need to know more than the competition as well as the customer. I bought just a basic model because the salesman wasn't sure if the options I wanted could be installed or not.
Never been a big fan of imports, but the quality of the product and knowledge aforehand was a big advantage.
