As I am a person with NO time to buy a car, as I am working 7:30am to 7:30pm monday through friday and 8-12 on Saturday. Eva made the process incredibly easy. I did my research online. I went and test drove the xb that I was looking at. Eva gave me the tour of Ann Arbor. It was excellent. Over the next couple of weeks we were over the phone and faxing information in order to make the transaction. She then proceeded to drive out to where I am and pick up my car to get it finished off. Very Personable Staff. Very Efficient.. Thanks Eva, Dunning and Dennis for making my car buying experience a great thing... I will most definitely be back...

Great place to buy a car - highly recommended. Eva's great to work with - request her if you're in doubt. With her help, she found the tC I wanted and got it to me in two days since it wasn't in stock.
Only complaint was that inventory wasn't very high, but since they got me what I wanted so fast, it wasn't an issue.

I love all my Toyotas (I own 1 Toyota and 1 Scion) and purchased both from Dunning. However, they are way more knowledgeable about Toyotas and knew VERY little about their Scions. They really need to study up on features and facts of the 3 vehicle models available. I will continue to purchase vehicles from Dunning. They just need to increase their Scion vehicle knowledge drastically.

Since this area only gives me 1000 characters to submit my review I'll make this short and say that Dunning Scion in Ann Arbor, MI has the most incompetent staff I have ever encountered at ANY dealership of ANY kind in my ENTIRE life.
3 horrible experiences in as many weeks.

The guys (Todd and Matt) were great when I went in and bought my tC. Actually the tC that I bought used to be Todd's so it was all tricked out and whatnot which I didn't mind at all. It came with the 18" rims and all four had scuffs on them, which they fixed without question. Every time I go in there now I usually end up talking to Todd about the new stuff they're coming out with for the tC's. It's nice to be able to just "BS" with someone who knows about the car inside and out. Everyone at that dealership is great and they're always very friendly. I'm definitely glad that I bought my tC there.

I just got a xA with the help of Todd and Matt, who are really very nice. They are patient, considerate and work in an efficient ways. What I appreciate the most is they tell you what they can do and what they can’t, what they have and what they don't have. They don't promise something they can't and put you in endless waiting and try to persuade you into something you don't intend to do. Their help makes my decision-making and hence of the purchase easier.
Prior to my visit to Dunning Scion, I have a bad experience in other dealerships. What I can say is the honesty and helpfulness of Dunning Scion is way much better than what I experienced elsewhere.

The Scion sales reps at Dunning are wonderful. Todd and Matt helped me and my friends right away with a test drive and gave us all the information we wanted to know about trading in a car and getting a new one. I've never been to a better car dealer.

Not having a new car experience for a number of years, my apprehension disappeared when I walked into Dunning Scion. Todd wasted no time in getting us in to a test drive of a xB. My wife was not sure about the xB until she drove it. After what may be the shortest test drive in history, Todd handed us over to Matt who took care of our needs painlessly, and efficiently. I never remember feeling so relaxed and at ease at a dealership then I did at Dunning. My hats off to Matt. Anyone who can sit in the back lot waiting patiently while a 6yr old decides the color of their parents car (because they can't), is someone who is interested in making sure you are a satisfied customer.

I met Tom the Scion sales manager on the lot and mentioned I was interested in purchasing the white xB demo they had. He was very straight forward and mentioned that they would have to wait until another xB arrived to replace the demo but was very accomodating and introduced me to Matt who assumed the role of making the sale. I understood the position they were in and also appreciated the set pricing arrangement they had with regards to the car and installed accessories. A few days later Tom & Matt contacted me to let me know they could sell the xB and would get it prepped and ready. I can honestly say this was one of the least painful (e.g. easiest) new car purchasing experiences I've ever had from any dealership and I've dealt with local Honda, Chrysler and Ford in recent years.
Great job to Tom & Matt of Dunning Ann Arbor! I know people who have purchased Toyota Prius & Subaru's from Dunning and were very happy and now I am among those as well.

I was looking to purchase a Scion tC and was told by my friend to go to Dunning Toyota. I got there on Monday and I was greeted by Todd. He was really helpful and I told him I wanted to purchase a tC. I test drove both auto and manual transmission cars. Todd was knowledgeable about the Scion cars and he then introduced Matt to me. Matt was very helpful and friendly.
I returned on Thursday after making a decision to purchase the car. When I got there, I saw a Absolute Red Scion tC R1.0. I spoke with Matt and Todd about getting the Special Edition car. I talked to Matt about what I accessories I wanted and sealed the deal on the car.
On Friday, I got to the dealership at 3pm and my car was almost prep ready. I went over to discuss payment with Bonnie and got everything straightened out. She was helpful and explain about after sales services. I drove out of the dealership at 6pm.
Hoping to have great after sales service from them! Thumbs up to Todd and Matt!!

Man, Dunning Scion is amazing. I'm almost 16 and got my first car there, and the friendly service and overall quality was top notch. Matt and Todd exemplify what Scion is all about, no strings attached salesmanship and no bull. They told me and my Dad everything straight up, from whether to lease or buy, why Scion uses pure price and how long everything would take. I got a manual transmission black sand pearl tC with the airbags and floor mats, and they got it to me right away. I didn't worry about it or nothin. Not to mention the fact that Dunning Scion is well air-conditioned and has comfortable chairs for you to sit in while Matt and Todd tell it like it is. I feel like the rest of my life I'll be let down by any other dealership. If you live anywhere within three states of Dunning Scion, go there to get your car. It's worth it.

What can I say but PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!
Matt Walsh the scion sales rep was FANTASTIC. Never felt pressure just took us through the information and purchase process seamlessly and with ENJOYMENT!!!!!!! Very unusual these days.
Just passed the 1000 miles so I am going to Woof it up. I have told everyone thining of buying a car to , at the very least take a look at one!

After days and days of trying to get the scion tC I wanted, Dunning came through with flying colors. I was not having the best experience in buying a new car for the first time. Dealers were giving me the run around. Until I called Todd in Ann Arbor. He was a joy to speak with right from the start. Knowing that I was getting impatient and the deal had to be done immediately, Todd did everything in his power to get the car delivered to me. Calling everytime he had a question, and making sure I was satisfied all the way. The great thing about it......we did almost the entire deal over the phone. I showed up at 5:30, they close at 6:00, and I drove away in my new car at 6:15. Now that's service! Great guys at Dunning. I'll be back in the future.

Best dealership around. Went to couple of other places and had to wait for over ten minutes before they would even say hello.
Dunning Scion was prompt and friendly. I will send my friends to Ann Arbor. They have the best selection and the salesman (Matt) was patient and knew his stuff. Even though they were busy the night I picked up my car, they got the paperwork done fast. I was very happy with them.

Matt at Dunning was very helpful -- even had ideas about stuff not on the Scion site. Would definitely get with him again -- much better treatment than the old school guys at the other dealer! Wish Matt was closer to home, but worth the trip, even if you have to go a ways -- I'm 70 miles away.

Dunning Scion is a great dealership. They have a cool kiosk with tons of information on the Scion. I have an XB and I LOVE it! The dealership also has a local Scion Klub, its real cool to have a organized place to meet other Scion lovers. If you are looking to buy a Scion.. this is the place to get one.

I thought overall my experience with the dealership was excellent. The people I met with at the dealership were always availble and very friendly. Gave me ample time to decide and made sure I knew all the options before I made my decision. They are also very effective on the phone and almost always available and if I ever had to leave a msg, the call was returned within a short time.

I bought my Scion XB back in June of 2004. I was and have been very satisfied with my experience at Dunning Scion. Matt Walsh was very helpful with my questions while ordering my XB. He has also been available to answer any questions I have now after my purchase. I also dealt with Todd Bailey at Dunning. He, as well, was and has been very helpful and friendly during my visits to Dunning. I also have had my car serviced (oil changes) at Dunning. The service department is very friendly and professional. I intend to buy all my future automobiles from Dunning Scion. Thanks Matt and Todd! I love my SCION XB! :)
My experience was very similar to that of "unpleased." The manager-lady was extremely unpleasent, and mocked me when I told her I was going to read the papers she was making me sign. Good thing I did, too, because I found a couple mistakes (with dollar amounts, no less!). The salesperson was pleasant, but not confident, not knowledgable, and not even there most of the time. He spent more time apologizing than he did attending to us and just did not leave a very good impression. The building itself is very attractive, but the staff (especially the manager) is horrendous, and I would definatly not buy a car from them again.

My friend bought a car... And I came along with her... I waited with her for more than 5 hours until we get attended to... And the manager really is not a pleasant woman... she doesn't like to smile... When I tried to occupy myself by browsing the net, she said "Having fun, huh?" Nice of her to say that when she is making me wait for 5 hours. The other guy (who seems quite polite)just kept on saying sorry he had to make us wait but never really attended to us. We reached there at around 2pm and finally are able to leave the place at almost 9pm... (They work slightly overtime that day... Or we'll sue them!! =P) He gave my friend a temporary license plate (or paper, if you prefer) that will last for two weeks... Alright, we took our grumbles back home without a fuss.
And after two weeks... the license expired. My friend asked him why the permanent license plate has not arrived yet... He said, "hey... why don't you come over now to ann arbor to get it yourself...?"... My girlfriend said something like, "WTF!! I am in Lansing!!(but not nearly as rude)"... "Ok, we'll send it to you next Monday then", he said. And she hasn't received it yet... as of now... let's hope my friend can receive it some day. By the way that friend of mine is my girlfriend, that's why I know so much. And why didn't we buy a scion from scion lansing? Check out my review on scion lansing...

Everything about this place was wonderful. Honest salesfolks always make shopping much more enjoyable. We got a tour of the shop and such( the cleanest stop i have ever, ever seen). Now if someone from dunning would come to scion life, i could get my 50 bucks!..wink wink
