I had been wanting to get an RS2 tC since the day I saw the color. I did not have the money when they were released so I thought I was screwed. Flash forward to September, I am at school (Purdue University) 2 hours away from home. A dealership here does a search and finds that Grossinger has the car I want. The rest is what makes Grossinger a great place to buy a car.
The Scion rep that I talked to helped me out with securing the forms needed by fax. He told me everything that came with the car (options) and was very nice and helpful. I told him that I had only one day to come down and buy the car before I had to drive back to school. He had the day off on the day I went to pick up the car, however, he made sure that the secretary knew what I wanted and had everything ready for when I said I would be in. The process went smooth and my car was waiting for me in a separate storage building. Great place.
The reason for 4 stars on attitude is the finance guy was a little pushy.

I was sketchy at first impression. Then one of your reps helped me out and was amazing. He was the friendliest person I've ever met at a dealer. (incase you're wondering, since I can't say his name, I will say you might think he's related to a certain baseball player that is no longer with the us in this city) everybody was so willing to help me with my first car purchase ever. They tried really hard to get me the best apr possible. I will never forget my experience with this dealership. I went through a lot of ups and downs before I could call my car my very own and this dealership and its's staff made it possible. If I ever buy a car again I would definitely try to do business with them again. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot complain...about my experience..because the dealer treated me GREAT and so did the people there..so two-thumbs up from me..also I bought a black xB ;)

I purchased my 05'Scion tC on May 31st and that’s when the problems started. From the moment I put the payment of $500 down to reserve the car I was given half answers and half truths to compliment. It appeared that everything I was told was false and no one had the right answer. I was not allowed to drive my tC off the lot until July 10th even though in mid June my tC arrived (I wasn’t even called and told it was in, by chance I was calling the dealership on a unrelated note and it came up that a flint mica tC arrived and low and behold it was my tC they spoke of, they didn’t even know what car they were selling me!) The reason I was denied access to MY car was because "one may not leave with X car until another model of X car is available for potential buyers to view." When I pre ordered the car I was not told of this policy. This is all not to mention that when my tC arrived it had 0 miles on it and when I picked it up almost a month later it had 49...obviously it was test driven (even though I was assured over and over again by several people it would not be! Nice job of establishing trust!) To top all of this I am still in constant struggle with Grossinger City Scion because I am owed the $500 pre order they never took off the sticker price of the car as they promised they would. It goes without saying Grossinger City Scion is taking their sweet time in giving me my rightfully owed money back although they were lightening QUICK in taking my money! The whole experience from start to finish was terrible, absolutely terrible. I have had nothing but trouble since the day I decided to buy the car and the cherry on top is that every time I call the dealership for information (or to try to get my money they owe me) I am on hold for, on average, 15 minutes and sometimes I have to call multiple times just to get in touch with someone! The only time they call me is when they want me to fill out a survey for them, which as you can see I graciously did. I wasn’t even called to follow up and see if the car worked well and I was pleased, once I was off the lot I was no longer a potential customer, I was nothing! People of the greater Chicago land area, I advise you to avoid Grossinger City Scion at all costs. There are plenty of other dealerships around and I am 100% sure the buying experience you will find anywhere else will be 2x what you will get from Grossinger City Scion. As consumers we have a right and responsibility to go where we feel our business is appreciated, so I implore you to take your business elsewhere because I do not wish what I have gone through on anyone. My first car buying experience went from dream to nightmare and I place the blame solely on Grossinger City Scion! This dealership robbed me of what should have been the most exciting time of my young life!

I Purchased my 05 TCM XB on June 25th and I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the entire vehicle purchasing experience.Their sales staff was extremely knowledgable and the service department is top notch.!!! They were very helpful when it came to choosing my accessories and their technicians did an excellent job of installing them. This dealership takes great pride in making your sales and service experience an excellent one. I would definitely recommend that you purchase your scion there. I know that when it comes time to buy another car I would definately buy it from Grossinger!!!!!
