I came to Green's Scion looking for an xB. Talked to Beejay. He was extremely helpful and I actually traded my 1993 Chevy full size Blazer in on an xB model. Decided I wanted something a little newer. Picking it up was almost ceremonial. It was parked out front so everyone could see me driving away. I was very impressed with the whole process. Needless to say I am very happy with my Shadow Mica xB!!

Our Green's Scion of Lexington experience was GREAT! We were introduced to Beejay while just browsing the lot. We had researched the tC and wanted to check one out in person. He was great during our first visit, not pressuring us about any car. He was was able to answer all of our questions, and gave us every brochure and pamphlet about the tC, so we could read up on them for ourselves. A few weeks later, we test drove a tC and fell in love. On this visit we were introduced to John Harris, and between him and Beejay we had a great time when we visited the lot. Needless to say we were going to get a tC, so we picked out all the extra options and color we wanted. Beejay and John had to place an order and ensured us that we would have the car ASAP. They were great about keeping in touch throughout the whole process and produced a beautiful super white tC with the TRD exhaust in no time flat. I would recommend anyone to go visit Beejay and John if you are thinking about a Scion

The best dealership I have ever worked with. Beejay knows his cars very well. I got exactly what I wanted, was not pushed for anything more and had a great time hanging out with the guys while the paperwork was being prepped. I guess the inventory level is to be expected as these cars are flying off the lots. It took just a few days after mine was ordered for it to be delivered.

I came to Green's Scion looking for an xB. Talked to Beejay and Allen who were extremely helpful and I actually put down a deposit on a Thundercloud metallic xB model. Decided I wanted something with a little more pick-up so I called back and inquired about a tC; switched my deposit over with no problem. A car was available before I expected. Picking it up was almost ceremonial. It was parked out front so everyone could see me driving away. I was very impressed with the whole process. Needless to say I am very satisfied.

The only negative was the fact that they didn't initially have a tC to test drive but this is almost a moot point considering how rapidly these cars sell.

As a family of four, we were looking for a family car - probably not the typical xb buyer. Beejay and Seth were very helpful. The xb we wanted wasn't available immediately, so we ordered one. About a week afterwards, we decided that we ordered the wrong color. What we thought would be an ordeal was no problem to Beejay. We got the xb in the color we wanted, and we love it. The only problem we had was a faulty radio, but Beejay and Seth seemed very embarrassed about it and helped me schedule a time to get a replacement radio ASAP.
These are great folks to work with. I'd definitely encourage buyers to go here.

Well I finally got my Nautical Blue tC about a week ago. It took a long time to get it in but well worth the wait. It wasn't Green's fault. And Beejay was trying to do whatever he could to get me the tC that I wanted. And it finally got here.

Beejay and Kareem are awesome. I know we gave them a hard time, but they were courteous and went above the call of duty to get us our xA.

Kareem even came in on his day off when the car came in. He put a big red bow on the hood of the car because my birthday was the next day. He even offered to drive the hubcaps to my office because they were a day late coming in.

Awesome job guys. I'm only buying from Greens!!

Just brought my new tc home from greens. I had a fun time from walking in the door all the way to getting in to drive it home. To me thats how a large purchase like a car should go. I dealt with both Beejay and Kareem. They know their stuff and go out of their way to promote not just the cars, but the whole scion life concept. They made my first car buying experience a great one.

I had done my research before going in and didnt have many questions for beejay, but I could tell by the things he helped point out in the car that he really knew his stuff.

One poster mentioned lack of stock on hand but hey these things are built to fly out the door and thats exactly what they do. Can't hold it against greens for that. Beejay offered find or order any other scion I wanted and that showed good effort on his part. So if you want a scion and if you want to get it from the best dealership in lexington, plan ahead and make sure they have or can get the one you want.

I was searching for a new vehicle that I needed for my new job that gets better gas mileage as I will be doing a lot of driving. I went to Frankfort to look at a Hybrid...but when I got there, the last one was sold. ;( See, my wife had a crappy Chevy Malibu getting a paltry 28 mpg...I already owned an xB that I bought last year from Kareem Dailey and Beejay at Green's (which I LOVE!). A lightbulb went on to call Beejay to see if he got any xA's in as they get almost 40 mpg and they are easy to whiz in and out of traffic with. Beejay had one 2006 xA left. I told him I wanted it. I arranged (or so I thought) to get financing on my own, but with my new job and pay structure being different than what it was last year, the finance company wouldn't do it. Sandy (Finance Manager) of Green's realized I may not be able to keep the car and she looked into financing with Toyota...well, low and behold they approved it and at an even better rate, and lower payment!! You guys are da BOMB!

I took me a long time to finally convince myself to buy the Box. Beejay Elefante (manager) and his sales staff were always patient and professional with me, never failing to allow me a test drive.....and I took many.

When it came time to buy, I simply laid down a small deposit and secured an incoming '06 TCM xB.

The process could not have been any simpler. Special thanks goes out to Larry McCain for handling the final details on such a short notice.

Highly recommend Green's Scion of Lexington.

Jay 06 (0) 5 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score)
I recently, and when I say recently I mean yesterday, bought a silver 06 tC from Greens Scion of Lexington. It actually could not have been any easier or smoother for me to purchase this car. On my last purchase 2 years ago I was practicly forced
into buying an 03 Civic (the story is too long and boring to bother with) . I have been, and still remain to be a Honda fan, but after visiting the dealership (out of curiosity), I couldn't help but seriously consider trading my Civic for a tC. Beejay and Alan were very helpful and as attentive as they could be considering how busy they always are. If I could offer any advice to someone shopping at any dealership is to "be patient". When you finally do get the car it will be well worth the wait. I appreciated everyones help at the dealership and could not be happier with the way it went down. Don't hesitate to look at one of these cars. They're better than you think they are.

I just bought my Scion tC yesterday. The staff at Green's was FANTASTIC!!!!!! George and Beejay bent over backwards and did backflips to get me into a Scion as quickly as possible. George even arranged for me to have a loaner Toyota until my Scion came in (2 days after I went in and told him I was ready to spend some money). No one I know owns a Scion from Green's, however several folks I know own Toyotas from there and everyone I spoke to only had positive things to say. The lower score on inventory can not be blamed on the dealership, if you are good at what you do, you are going to sell a lot of cars. I hope dealing with them in the future is as pleasant as my buying experience. I will always recommend Green's to potential car buyers.

jrcott00 (0) 5 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score)
I bought my tC from Green's about a month ago. All questions that have arisen have been answered thoroughly by a mix of staff. My initial contact at Green's was with John Hicks, but when he became busy, Mark Baker assisted in the process. Beejay Elefante also helped when in need. These three gentleman made my doing business at Green's a pleasure and an experience I look forward to in the future.

The only shortcoming that Green's seemed to have was its lack of inventory on Scion tCs, however, I can understand why it is so hard to keep them in stock.

TFM (6) 5 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score)
We went to the Scion Dealer on Nicholasville Road first. Boy what a mistake. They had a xb rs 2.0 but said they could not sell it to me because they had promised to give it to another dealer.

The next day we drove to Greens and met Richard and Beejay. Less than 20 min. later it was ours. Number 2209 and I love it. I have been fairly pleased with the answers to most of my questions. Beejay I am still waiting on the price of the cold air intake in the special yellow color.

The next time we buy we will buy from Greens. That should say enough.

I had a vision of a Black Scion xB with 7 spoke alloy rims and blue led lights glowing in the dark, sitting in my driveway..

Now it's a reality. I did my research, and walked into Green's Scion knowing what I wanted (I got talked out of the spoiler by my bf, btw) and that's exactly what I got.

With outstanding knowledge and positive personality, my experience was the best. Richard and BeeJay were ontop of the game making me happy and finding me my Scion; which I got to brag about being delivered from Japan because there were none in the area.

BeeJay even did a little dance for us.

All I can say.. (heh, after all I just said) is that BeeJay and Richard ROCK!

Thanks Guys, I love my xB.

joe mcendree 5 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score) [edit]
The scion was mearly an idea, a dream if you will of what the sales day should end with...we had little to spend and little time before work on the only day off....we browsed and browsed until finally saying "let's just take a look" amazingly the scion was very affordable and perfect for an expanding family with too much prideful youth to drive a mini-van....so begins the dreaded haggling process

"we want the list price, we want it today, and we want to be gone by 1:30" now normally this is where things start to get hairy but not with beejay and kareem...they simply shook our hands and said "okay"

two hours later we were on the road and tickled pink with exactly what we wanted....I am daily blown away by what my xb has to offer....my wifes happy I'm happy and all my friends want a scion....

thanks to the greens team for all their help...you guys rock

joe

My buying experience at Green's was top notch. Bee Jay and Kareem were more than helpful. Everything was straight up and I walked away paying exactly what the web site build sheet said I would pay. By the book. No hidden fees or charges here.

Just for the record, my interpretation is that Bee Jay is a manager, he doesn't sell cars. He's not supposed to.

Although they didn't have exactly the color/transmission xB that I was originally looking for, I was the one who made the final decision to buy the xB I now own. No pressure, no fuss.

My take on the limited inventory is a factor of the Scion brand being so popular. These cars are a great value!!

Take my advice and go see Kareem at Green's and tell them Rob sent you...(I'll split the bird dog $$ with ya!!!)

Debbie 6 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score) [edit]
The entire experience was quick and painless!! John Hicks was great, BeeJay was great, and we have no complaints whatsoever!! We love our xB and can't wait to "jazz it up!" I highly recommend talking to John or BeeJay if you want to buy a Scion! They were extremely nice, knowledgeable and professional. They answered all of our questions, and had our cruise control and auto-start installed within 24 hours. Thanks John and BeeJay for getting everything done so quickly and efficiently!!

I had a pretty good exp, with Greens. I had the standard problems that always arise when buying a car, but the staff was great. Very friendly and the atomosphere was great. I had been looking at Toyota on Nicholasville, and found the staff pretty standard, but there was something about Greens staff. It was kind of like the diffrence between buying a cd at wal-mart or buying one at a independant record store.

Took forever to get my new XB washed and filled, but BEEJAY hooked me up with some comps and some insider info on the XB. John Hicks was very friendly and quick, cudos to him. Third car I have bought from Greens, first one I enjoyed buying!

Excellent service and quality. This has been one of the best purchasing experiences of my entire life. From pre-sale all the way through to post-sale and follow-ups, Beejay @ Green's Scion is da man!!!

Staff and customer service was great. We had to order the vehicle and TRD parts but, the finished vehicle was delivered in less than a week.

Despite being immediately accosted in the parking lost by an overly enthusiastic sales rep (Anthony), the staff at Greens has been outstanding. BeeJay, as mentioned elsewhere, was very knowledgable and personable--he's the boss though so I recommend Ken Hill as your future salesman. Ken is enthusiastic and informed; he will go out of his way to help you. He made the entire experience effortless for this new buyer.
(Keep in mind that your sales guy will not can not do all the financial paperwork with you. They keep these guys hidden in the back. I did not care for this since I felt I had a level of trust and rapport with Ken and was suddenly handing some stranger all my $. Who, it turn, was trying to talk me into additional charges. I guess this is standard operating procedure though.)
Inventory for the tC may have been lacking--but I don't want everyone driving the same thing as me! So be patient. I had to wait a couple weeks for them to find my car and delivery it (it came from 500 miles away).

xAwahl (9) 6 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score)
At first I didnt know what to think...but then The guys there are the greatest. They helped me in choosing what I wanted. I am now addicted to my Scion and its awesome. Thanks Beejay,John,Kareem, and everyone else who help make my purchase the best one I have ever made and it will be hard to be unless the next car is free...Thanks guys, I appreciate all the work you did for me. I will definitely send everyone I know your way. Thanks again

I started dealing with Beejay first and then Frankie came into the picture for our tc. Though we had to wait about 3 1/2 weeks to get the color we requested the customer service was fine.

Kweku Korsah 6 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score) [edit]
I was shopping around for a Scion TC and from everyone that I talked to, Greens is a good place with good service and good people. I am pleased with my decision to buy the Scion from them because of their hospitality and willingness to help out whenever needed.

miniH2 (9) 6 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score)
I bought my thundercloud xB two months before they even came out in Kentucky. Bee Jay was a god send when it came to questions about the xB. I think that they have come a long way with their scion department and with their knowledge with starting the car club. If you haven't joined the car club or are going to get a scion from there I would recommend Scion Evolution to get good hook ups on parts and to have a good time. We plan to go to UK games and BBQs and just hang out.

tigress4121 (8) 6 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score)
I had a lot of trouble with Green's scion, to be quite honest. I started off working with Frankie to help me buy my '05 TC. This was not a smart choice. Although Frankie seems like a nice guy, he's not very knowledgeable of the car. Also, I noticed that he never called me about information. I always had to track him down, and even had to call him 3 or 4 times a day sometimes just to get a straight answer about why I didn't have my car or my parts for it yet. Luckily, after my car finally arrived, Beejay stepped into the picture. Beejay helped me out tremendously. He is extremely knowledgeable about the car, and really TRIES to get things done. Beejay has been so helpful to me. So, if you're planning on buying from Greens I would strongly recommend you talk to Beejay since he seems to know the most and has the best customer service skills.

Dave 6 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score) [edit]
Up front let me say that I have purchased all of my 8, or is it 9, Toyotas from Green's. While shopping for a replacement for my 88 Celica, I was told that the Scions were coming. The learning and shopping experience was superb. Green's found a base Tc with no options. That never happens! The "one price for all" approach was just right - I hate to haggle. "Sales Staff"?? More like friends passing on a good tip. My best car buying experience. Only nit...they need more cars.

Derek 6 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score) [edit]
I bought my tC from Green's Toyota and I am almost completely satisfied. I thought that Beejay was an absolutely delightful person to deal with and that Skipper was like a cool older brother. Haha! We did discover a dent on the car, but they are going to fix that up for me, so I am not too worried about it. The only thing was Skipper said he was going to call, but he didn't. Instead, I had got online and talked to Beejay and he sorted everything out for me. In my opinion, and apparently everyone else's too, Beejay is knowledgeable on everything, but he always lets someone else wrap up the deal. That is just how he does it I guess because he is the manager, but he needs more people on his staff similar to him: outgoing and knowledgeable on all aspects of Scions. Since Scions are still new, the staff must be learning and adjusting, so I just guess that any mistakes or errors can be considered as a part of a "learner's curve". That is why I think that my overall experience with Greens was fast, easy, enjoyable, and fun (especially for my first actual NEW car) Thanks a lot Beejay and Skipper!!!

I work for an Engineering Software firm and have always been drawn to fresh, innovative design. So when I was introduced to the Scion xA while shopping for my first "new car", it was love at first sight. Unfortunately, Greene's Scion Dealership in Lexington, KY quickly turned this experience into a nightmare.
A young, "hip", software engineer who manages Scion's sales named BeeJay represented the car quite well. I could do business with this guy. The detail of the xA! The economics of it! It was MY car! However, after finding out that I wanted to purchase the car, BeeJay quickly washed his hands of me and said, "Let me introduce you to Frankie Crum. He's going to wrap up the sale." And he scampered away to establish another "relationship", while leaving me standing there with Frank. Crum.
"How much deposit do I need?" I asked Frank.
"Well, 500 or 1000 will be fine."
"I'm interested in a manual transmission..." I say.
Frank goes on to tell me how much more economical an automatic is. And this made sense. This way I could, "drive the very car I test-drove off the lot."
Frank dissapears. He returns with the paperwork I had filled out complete with my signature agreeing to $12,995 with $1000 dollars down and $250 dollars a month directly withdrawn from my bank account. No co-signer needed. All he had to do was bring me the keys. He dissapears again. And returns with Beejay.
"Well, Lauren, we have some bad news. That car has already been sold. We are terribly sorry. But we'll get you the manual transmission you wanted and deliver your car to you! This way girl, you will get exactly what you want!"
"Alright," I said, quite dissapointed but willing to accomodate. I had NO idea that this was just the first encounter with what became CONSISTENT "BAD NEWS" from Green's Toyota/Scion Dealership.
I did not get the daily calls they promised. I had to call them.
Finally, Frank calls me, says, "I found your car, but there's some, 'bad news'....the fax machine is out of ink and it has your paperwork in it!....and our secretary, well, she has a broken arm so it cannot be fixed.... I can't get your car to you until after Labor Day. Let me finish up the paperwork and I'll call you."
He doesn't call. I call him at the end of my business day wondering why he hasn't delivered my car yet.
"Well, I've got your car, but..."
You guessed it.
"I've got some bad news...."
He continues. "The finance department needs $1500 more on the deposit and a co-signer on your loan before we can bring you the car."
Should I go on?
The gimmicks of a Tokyo red light district could not be more cheap, deceptive or illusory than what I encountered with Green's Toyota/Scion dealership in Lexington.
"Come on in," they said to me. "Let's fall in love! Let's even get married for life! But I'm going to have to leave the screwing part to my friend Frankie."

I tried to buy my 2005 Scion xB from Greens scion of Lexington and was ready to sign the papers and everything when I came across some problems. They did not have the accessories that I wanted in stock and said it might be a little while for them to come in and that I could bring the car back to let them put them on. I wanted the car finished and ready to go so I could enjoy it since I was paying for it and not have to bring back later for them to finish it. I also had to call them several times when I was waiting on calls from them and never heard from them. The sales people here are not very good with customer service and don't try to follow up with you and don't try to contact you. I was the one trying to buy the car, not them trying to buy it off of me. I decided to go to another dealership and buy my Scion and got a very good deal and very good customer service there.

Just bought my new xB from Green's and I have to say that the service I received and the overall experience was EXCELLENT!!! I would definately recommend Skipper and/or Beejay if you are nearby and in the market for any Scion. The staff was friendly and made the entire experience (my first actual NEW car) painless and enjoyable. I was introduced to the entire Green's staff, including the parts and service managers, and look forward to returning for accessories!!!!

They were supreme in hooking me up with my '05 tC. Quick n' easy. and all that jazz.

branner77 (0) 6 Year(s) Old (does not count toward dealer score)
All in all, I had a good experience, but I feel the staff could have been more professional. That is, I feel I shouldn't have HAD to chase them down to get answers to anything, especially after plunking down nearly $20K to buy my tC.

Don't get me wrong: I love the car, but wish the sales staff were a little more on the ball, especially in regard to follow up. I think Beejay, Ken, Skipper, etc. are all knowledgeable and such, but I think I hit them when they were first learning too. It was still all so new to them.

Nonetheless, I've been disappointed with the way I've had to TRY to call them for answers to my questions, etc. Am also disappointed that certain parts (for my accessories) didn't arrive on time and that, again, I had to find this out instead of being called and told this. I look forward to getting everything finished so I can be done with the trouble of dealing with them, honestly.
