I went to Lakeside last Friday to price an xB for myself and my fiance. I had been researching the car and company for about two weeks, so I had a good general idea of what to expect. The man who met me at the door was nice at first, but ended up getting EXTREMELY pushy. All I needed was a test drive, get my trade in appraised, and a buyer's order faxed to my bank. When he priced my trade in, it was a lower price than I expected. He dangled my keys in front of my face and said "If I give you more, can we make a deal today?" I told him no, that my fiance had to co-sign. He kept "forgetting" to give me back my keys, or almost handing them to me and then pulling them away. When I finally got my keys from him and walked out the door, he followed me and yelled "you know, you won't get a better deal on that piece of c**p you have right now." I'll never, EVER recommend this place to anyone, whether they want a Scion or a Toyota.

When I first arrived, I stood in the sun for about 15 mins lookin at the three xB's they had in stock. Although they didn't have the polar white that I wanted but was going to see if they can get one. After 15 mins in the sun, no one came out to help so I went inside to try to find someone who can help me. Finally, Kenny Degree came up to help me and ask me if I was looking forward to buying the xB. So obviously, he saw me standing next to the xB but didn't bother to come out and help...maybe b/c Im young, look poor and im asian...but anywayz, I was expecting a handshake when he walk up to me but didn't get that either...I ask him if they can get a base polar white xB and he said no, only one that they can get is the one with the six disc changer and this goes for all scion dealers now because scion is out of single disc cd player..I then told them I'll give em a call and kenny degree gave me his business card and no handshake again....hell with them...not going over there again ever

Lakeside Scion is without a doubt the best dealership around. We have many Scion dealers in town and I had been to all of them, but all of the other dealers acted like I was not worth talking to. The only dealer that took the time to show me around the Scion product and everything it had to offer was Lakeside Scion.

Before putting in an order for my car, I visited all the Scion dealers around New Orleans. After my experience at Lakeside I decided to buy my car anywhere but there. The salesman was very unfriendy and monotone. I told him that I was selling my car before placing an order, yet he continued to ask repeatedly if I wanted to put my order in NOW. Although he was eager to sell me the car, he did everything he could to drive me away. The next day I received a phone call from a Lakeside representative to take a survey of my visit there. I said to them what I have said here. Considering the pure pricing of the tC, I would rather bring my business elsewhere. I would recommend Bohn Bros Scion (Westbank) or Ray Brandt Scion (Metairie).
