Tae Thomas is the man!! Went to talk to him about ordering a TC and he was very honest and up-front about the wait. He called me once to see if I would be interested in a black 5 speed instead of the indigo ink because someone had backed out. I said i would rather wait on the one i ordered. 2 weeks later, my indigo ink TC was ready to be picked up. It was detailed perfectly and everything was ready to go. They even let me take the car on a Thursday and bring them a check the next day because of problems at my bank. I'm not sure if everyone at Landers is this good, but I would HIGHLY reccomend Tae if you want to buy a Scion, or any other vehicle on their lot (he can sell any new or used, any make).

I went into the dealership on the 14th of July ready to buy a Camo Green xB. It was simple, brought in the list and ordered the parts and the car the next morning. I was contacted through e-mail telling me that my car will be in very soon, but I was also going to Waco at the end of the week. When I returned from my trip to Baylor I had another piece of mail in my box asking to tell them when I was ready to pick it up. I responded I want to pick it up ASAP. Sadly I found out that the Scion Rep, Chris, I was working with resigned that Saturday :-(. I went at noon to pick my xB up and noticed that it was not put through detailing. They called the guy I e-mailed and he said I did not respond. Which is a bunch of bull, I responed within minutes of recieving the e-mail. It was only a 2 hour wait though. Came back and drove off the lot. But there was another problem.. There was no Cold Air Intake or TRD Oil Filter. Took it back and asked where are they, and they had no clue they were missing which made me raise an eyebrow.. They will call me when the parts get in and will install them. All and all it was a great expierence, my first car and could not be happier! :-D

Ordered a vehicle in late April expecting 5 week wait. After 6 weeks, other states were able to sell scions so I shopped around in Southern MO. Landers would not/did not try to find my vehicle until the same day I told them I was going to another dealership. They miraculously found one after previously telling me I would have to wait two weeks until the next "allocation".
They would not budge on the bogus doc fee of $200. Even if it meant I would shop elsewhere. They claimed it was part of the pure pricing deal. Whatever. (Save yourself $100 and go up to Frank Fletcher Toyota in Joplin)
I also know of horror stories in their install dept.
