I have to disagree with these reveiws. I had a great experience here and Carolyn was great to me. I have bought toyotas in the past however decided on a Scion this time. She is very knowledgeable and was willing to do anything to make the process easier. Facility was a little old however a new one was going up right behind it so can't hold that against them.

Went to this place to see about new Scion for wife. Getting to talk to Scion salesperson was an ordeal. After talking to a Scion salesperson, called back to ask a question. Was told she no longer worked there. Went to dealership a week later and there she was. We had been lied to by sales manager!
When asking about ordering a new Scion (pre-sale), salesperson took info, however, no follow-up was done, as promised. Ended up canceling and went to Scion of Louisville as these people were too much.
Since I found these other reviews, just wanted to reiterate that they are still as bad as ever.

This place was awful. At first it looked pretty good, several Scions in stock (though most of them ended up being used). Then the salesman came out. This guy was one of the most stereotypical examples of sleazy car salesmen I had ever seen. He new VERY little about the xBs themselves and even less about Scion. In fact, I am pretty sure this guy wasn't a certified Scion dealer at all. Once we got in the show room, they guy tried to play the number game with my mom (my cosigner). He was very condescending and seemed to... look down on her because she was a woman. Then he had some other guy try to sell us remote entry, a standard option. My total estimated cost was nearly $19,000 with NO added options. Needless to say, I went to a different dealer. I ended up having a great car buying experience after all, just not at Oxmoor.

Oxmoor Scion is my closest dealer so I wanted to buy from them. But when it came down to writing up a purchase order to reserve a TCM MT xB, the salesman disappeared for awhile and came back with an order form that showed $950 in fees. I said I understood some fees were normal, but these seemed excessive. He said I was welcome to check other Scion dealers, so I left and went to Scion of Louisville where the fees were $547 less.
Oxmoor's service facility is just a line of garage door bays, like a big gas station service shop, with no interior driving lane. It seems a little small and congested for all the Toyotas and now Scions, compared to a drive-in service facility. But I hear the service is OK.

I test drove a car at this dealer, but did not buy from them. I have heard horror stories about high pressure sales tactics and just a pressure, intense experience. Here is my story :)
I got there and made it clear that I was just going to test drive, that I already had financing and was just working on making a final decision. Once we got into the car, the salesguy (Sorry can't remember his name) talked about financing. He did not know ANYTHING about the cars, options, rims, Horsepower, etc. Granted, I've been looking at these cars for a month or so, but it is sad when the customer knows more about the product than the salesman.
Once the test drive was over (they only had one Scion in stock), I was passed over to another sales guy and had to explain that I was still evaluating the cars. It took me 10 minutes to drill the point home that I was NOT buying a car today.
For anyone in Louisville looking for a Scion, I recommend the Scion dealership on Dixie Highway.
Where did my original review of this dealer go. All the reviews are now gone. Anyway, stay away from this dealer. I was highly pressured into "buying today" and ended up having to fight my way through not just one, but two salesman just to get out of there. The also tried to play the numbers game in my trade-in making it look like I was getting a better deal than I originally was. The salesman was rude and pushy, exactly not what Scion is out. I have never been so nervous leaving a dealer. It was awful. The service department on the other hand is not nearly as bad. As for the sales department, go to a different dealer...there are two other fine dealers in the area

I bought my Scion tC at Green's in Lexington and was thoroughly impressed by their store and staff. My tC needed its initial oil change and I went to Oxmoor. I was just as impressed with this staff and store as I was in Lexington. I look forward to future business with these two dealerships.
