Toyota/Scion City of Brooklyn Park, under the management of GM Ron Murray, refused to honor the advertised internet price for a car on their lot. The car was advtertised at a low "leader" price, and listed for over 3 business days, but when I went to buy the car - at the full advertised price, they tried to upcharge me $10,000 more for the same vehicle with the same VIN number!!!!! Based on this experience, and the number of complaints files in the past 3 years against Toyota/Scion City with the Better Business Bureau, I highly recommend that you DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TOYOTA SCION CITY!

I bought my Scion xA from Scion City in December. I ordered it and they had one for me in about a week. Awesome service from Tony Arens. My girlfriend and I both went to him and everything went smoothly. They even sent us some cookies and the recipe!!! My girlfriend traded in her Neon and the day they were going to put on her extra accessories, they gave her a rental Corolla for free. Awesome service!!

The sales associates at this dealership are awesome. Tony Arens (sales) and Jeni Seran (sales manager) have great product knowledge. Tony is a member of “Scion Life” himself and if you don’t know something about Scion, ask him, he will know. Jeni knows accessories and assisted me in the special ordering of my xB and mods. If you need a Scion part or a hard to find performance mod, talk to Mike Doyle (parts), he can get a hold of anything. Robert Madich (service) knows these Scions inside and out. Along with his crack team of Scion experts, Russ Miceli and Ron Murray (tech’s), if anything needs to be done, they can do it. Every time I go into that dealer, they know me by my first name. They constantly want to see my xB and find out what mods have recently been done to it. They want to know where I get my parts, so that they can get the same product for other guests. I have never been treated so nicely at a car dealer even before, they treat me like family. I will continue to frequent this dealer and refer it to friends. So stop by, take a test drive, see what you think, and don’t forget to tell them that “Rob” sent you.

I've had my tC for a month, and must say that I was continually stunned by the accessability of good customer service from Scion City. Jeni was very helpful and patient with me while I made my decision; she even stayed a good 20 minutes after close just so I could look at a scion (thanks Jeni!). She handed me off to Tony who is a friendly and easy going guy who was very knowledgeable about the product but more importantly got answers when I needed them. I was very appreciative of this.
We squared away the deal in about an hour and 20 minutes (which for being my first new car is rather fast!).
All the installs I had for leather, a autodimming mirror, and heated seats were all consildated into one quick appointment and the service department was very flexible with my schedule.
The tC I wanted was coming in to stock on the monday after my visit. Jeni offered to hold the vehicle for me which I knew would be the only chance at getting a Flint Mica 5spd tC without having to order it ;)
I overall can say that I was very comfortable throughout the buying process as a first time buyer and would definately recommend Scion City to anyone looking at buying a new car.

EXCELLENT!!
The staff were all professional and friendly! There was a minor glitch (I guess a sales dude quit, and never submitted my order for my xB) but after a breif chitchat w/ the sales manager he got me a new sales dude that put some hustle into it! If you live in the Twin Cities metro just go to Scion City and ask for Tony Arens. Also the finance guy chip was a pleasure to deal with. The parts and service crew are also very professional and on the ball.
I chose 9 stars for first impression because of that sales dude taht quit, leaving my order unattended. But the rest of the team made up for it and then some.
I chose 9 stars for inventory because I had to wait a week for the rest of my acessories to come in. I think they should have all that stuff ready, but still ... I only shaved one point off because it's a new dealership and all, so they had pretty much no inventory, etc.
I'd recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new Toyota or Scion.
