"Under New Management" and if the Service Department is any indication I want the old management back. I go elsewhere now for my service. I looked here first when I wanted a new car and was not smothered by a pushy salesman. This was a refreshing change at first, but soon the laid back attitude bacame annoying. I had to push them to get some numbers, and they eventually came back with a high price and a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. I left it.

In this age of being able to track exactly where any type of inventory is, they couldn't tell me when my car would arrive. I didn't get a single courtesy call telling me why the car was not coming, or even to say, "Sorry, maybe tomorrow". Plus they had horrible service, 7 days late, after the car arrived. I walked in knowing what I wanted. Even not doing any financing with them, it still took 2 1/2 hrs to drive out of there.

My experience with Toyota of Melbourne was perfect. I knew a lot about the Xa that I purchased, but the people there really knew what they were talking about. They were friendly, professional, and personable. My dealer was Damion Coates. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me make the best decision for me, I got an amazing plan, and an amazing car out of it. I give Toyota of Melbourne, and especially Damion all the stars I can possibly give. They surpassed my expectations, and made me feel valued. I'm a young adult, which contradicts with some of the other comments I've read above. Great Job guys! Keep up the good work!
I highly recommend this dealership if you want a great deal, for a great car, with great people.

I have been working with a salesman now for 2 months. He's been very helpful and not pushy at all. He answered all of my questions and seems to generally care about his customers. Now I have been to Toyota of Melbourne before with my mother and it was a completely negative experience when she bought her Sequoia. I guess it depends on which salesperson you get. I just got the limited edition Scion xb Envy green (so pretty). Ask for Damion Coates if you go in there, he's nice, cute and knows his stuff. He’s very straightforward. Avoid others there like the plague. He works inside the building so you have to ask at the front desk for him.

I went in the other day to look at an xB. I was approached by a sales person that was very nice, turns out he is an ex-pilot and we got along. The test drive went well. I had some question on interest rates and leasing. I was introduced to 2 guys that did not even bother to get up out of the chairs. Now I am not a kid, 58 years old, and am not used to this. they could care less about selling a car! i guess it results from selling a t list PLUS fees. Amazing.
The only reason I would buy from this dealer is that the sales guy was very nice and there dealer fee was less then the Orlando stores.
To bad the taste left in my mouth is not the best. Perhaps they don't care.

I knew what I wanted and visited the nearest dealer. They were willing to show me a tC as they did not have an xB, saying the tC is "about the same" as a xB. My neighbor had purchased a xB from Scion of Melbourne and though they were nearly 50 miles away I went there. The people were up front and very professional about getting the version I wanted (TCM 5sp xB). I walked in with my own financing and was given a low-pressure pitch for their financing (4.99%). The salesman, Richard Thomas, did not insult my intelligence with add-ons or "package deals". The service plans offered were the typical dealer profit items but they were offered only once and not repeated after I declined. The dealership made sure I was kept informed of the progress of my order. They even opened up early to process and deliver the car Sat morning so I could get to work on time. Only the document fee marred the deal but as Scions are in demand, they had 1 of the lowest "fees" in the area. Recommended.

This past Monday, September 20 my fiancee and I visit Toyota of Melbourne. Our original plan was to check out the Toyota Echo, because we had be driving a Toyota and like the gas mileage. That is when we meet Stephen Page (most like the other viewer's sale person's brother). Stephen seemed like a very knowledgeable sale person pointing out all the key points that drew me to the Toyota dealership in the first place. Most of dealing with the Toyota of Melbourne was either with Stephen or Todd (last name escapes me at this time),the finance person. We decide to purchase the Scion xB. Not only did this vehicle meet my need of good gas mileage but being a large person provided me with enough head and shoulder space. Stephen was very polite and informative when my girlfriend grandmother came with us Tuesday when we finally made the deal. Not only did we receive a better package then our other new car we bought in the past, but we weren't pass around from sales person to sales person like at another auto dealership.

Ahhh Toyota of Melbourne I first walk in to the store the check out some scion’s, I didn’t get a hello how are you, a welcome to Toyota of Melbourne, a can I help you? Maybe because I am a teen? Having said that Friday comes around I am on my way to Toyota of Orlando to check out their tc’s when I get a call from my buddy pat, he tells me Toyota of Melbourne has a flint mica tc in. so I go to TOM This time I get greeted by the salesman who was already test driving the car, Mitchell Page (Seemed like a pretty cool guy could have been an act) so we go inside talk about things, I tell him we will be in tomorrow to put down a deposit, So the next day I go in there look at the car again then head to the round table to do business. Number one it took 8 different people to get the deal going. I think they were trying to test how much I knew or something, they sent one guy to tell me about the car I already knew about, another to tell me how I should do a 72 month loan because it would have a better rate, I said no sir the less months you take the better rate you get so If I go with a 60 ill get a better rate and I know this for a fact, “ oh your right my mistake” he says. then they send some lady to talk slow to me like I was retarded, after I showed her up, they sent my salesmen and 2 other guys to back him up :). Numerous people come a chimed in through the whole deal, what really pissed me off was the owner of the dealership. instead of getting personal with me, he just told people what to tell me for him, like come on you Arnold swartzineiger look alike you can at least talk to me I don’t have a deadly disease. All and all it was ok service I guess you could say, if you do go in there see Mitchell Page. Like I said he seems to be a cool guy pretty helpful.
