I am in the middle of purchasing a Scion tC right now from Smart Toyota/Scion and am a little unimpressed. My family has purchased at least 6 cars from Smart and has always felt like family over there but after talking to Andy I was a little taken back. I have dealt with other dealerships in the last month and as far as staff attitude goes they are at the bottom of the list. I went to check out the car yesterday and had to actually go up to the salesmen to get help from him. He had average knowledge about the car but didn't seem willing to share it. As I was looking over options or filling out paperwork he would just sit there and act like he had something better to do. Overall I am very happy with the car I am getting but would not recommend Smart Scion/Andy to any friends or relatives.

First of all I'm not your typical Scion xB driver. I will be 70 years young in June. I had decided I wanted a Shadow Mica color 2006 xB. I had been told by several dealers that the Shadow Mica in a standard transmission was going to be hard to find. My very first call to a Scion dealer (who knows why I picked Madison WI - 90 miles from home) must have been fate. Celia, the salesperson, told me they had just (a few minutes earlier) recieved their first 2006 Shadow Mica xB. In a matter of minutes we had the deal put together. A couple days later (I had a few accessories added) I went to Smart Scion in Madison and picked up my new toy. I got the red carpet treatment. Good people... extremely helpful and professional. That was a week ago and Celia has followed up three times already. Wow! I am having more fun with this car than any other (I have bought several in my nearly 70 years) new car I bought. It sure does get the "looks" from passersby. VERY positive experience.

Although the place was slick and nice on first impression, I felt that I knew more about the xB I bought than the salesperson (who was very nice,but very young). For instance, she insisted that the 06 xB had side mirrors with signals and I knew that only the 06 xA had them- and when I picked up the car, I had to mention "So,the xB doesn't have the turn signals on the mirrors,right?" and she said,"No,that's the xA" as if I was the on who was insisting that the xB had them.
Also, the finanace manager kept looking at her watch as I was reading over the purchase order as if I was taking up her "valuable" time!

I feel that they could have done a better job all in all, but I have my xB and I love it.

Talk to Andy overe at Smart Scion if you need anything. I called looking for a tC not in anyones allocation at 9:03 Wednesday morning and he had what I was looking for. Since I was unable to make the 2 hour drive that day he came in the next day on his DAY OFF to hook me up. He is very knowledgeable and can answer any of your Scion questions. You can't go wrong!

since i work at smart scion, in the detail department, you may find this review bias! i was crazy for the xa when our dealership got the second issue of scion books. you know the ones with the blue cover and the dvd inside! the have allways embraced my feelings for the scion and they let me drive the silver xa with the 19" trd rims to the madison car show. I fell in love! they asked me to help them pimp out the black xb that they bought from sanfran. it was then that i learned how i was going to built my xa. i had 22 mods done when i left with my xa! i had the second smart scion delivery. even though it must have been a head ache to work out all my mods, andy pulled through and made me the best xa i have driven yet today! Now he can do the same for any scion freak. I set the bar and he jumped it! i am sure he would do the same for anyone else! he got my ultimate Xa job done! thanks andy "TMC"!

When I first went to the dealership to take a look at the car they had just received it and were in the process of washing it. The Scion rep, Andy, still lead me to the back room where they were washing it, stopped the guy, and let me sit in it and fool around with the controls. A week later I went to the dealership to purchase one and he was very helpful with everything. The only problem is that I seemed to know more about the car than he did. I placed the order on June 19th and he put it in his next allocation. He said that he put "2nd try" on it to hurry up the process. Well this worked and the car should be arriving around the 15th of July. Overall he really impressed me and I feel like he took care of my individual needs.
