This was the biggest hassle ever. I own an 05 xB I know the financing deals and the program better than most. My fiancée and I went to buy a tC we knew we wanted it and knew her credit score we got a sales woman who turned out to be a scam artist. Without running our credit or talking to a finance manager she first of all added like 3000 dollars to the car 19250 without any options. So we sit there and she says it would be 2,500 down, however that would be with a credit score of almost 750. So we say no thank you and walked out; she chases us down about 5 minutes later and says the sales manager says to run your credit. We say go ahead and walked out we knew then that we could find the car elsewhere. Also they were selling someone else’s car, the car was not even on the lot.....we bought a tc in pensacola ...what happened to pure pricing

Overall, very unimpressed with the dealership and more so after hearing many other bad first-hand stories. When first inquired about the xB RS1's, dealership had no idea what they were, then checked into it - turns out I did know what I was talking about. 'Personality' wise, salesmen were fine at first, but eventually showed true colors as being petty and unintelligent (public disclosing of credit, true or not - is NOT a smart thing for a dealer to do!) Getting a return phone call was like pulling teeth. Getting ANY info was just as hard. Eventually got fed up with being bald faced lied to and drive a whopping 2 hours to Tuscaloosa Scion for a perfect trouble-free sale at a lower price and much better incentives to go with the car. Springhill Toyota then tried to be vindictive over the process and attempted to get me 'fired' from my job - and when that failed badly, came HERE to SL.com and attempted to bad mouth me (and lie about things like credit and etc) here also. This dealership has also tried to speak poorly of me to others in person (who've come and told me what was said.). I've heard many of the same complaints over and over from others through work as well. Overall, it's a very poorly run, vindictive underhanded business. There are to many other dealers with the same or better inventory (and Palmers across town IS cheaper on 'pure price'). They'd get a "D+" at best.

Went to Springhill Scion, looking at the Scions. I had previously went to Palmer's Airport Toyota a few times, but a sales rep never even came out to greet me (I guess I looked to much like a bum for em.) My sales rep (Chris King) was very knowledgable about the products and treated me just how a customer should be treated. Their inventory was low, but that didn't matter since I wanted to custom my xA. I took delivery 5 days later with all the options I wanted installed and ready to go. I didn't like the finance manager, however, because he kept trying to sell me on the extended warranty, though I made it clear in the begining I was interested in it. He even told me a story on how his Toyota's AC went out at 37k miles and how he was lucky he had the extended warranty. I told him if he expects I will have that problem, I wouldn't take delivery of car. That was the end of that.
