tC Glory on the pages of Super Street June 07
If anybody hasn't seen it yet, there's quite the tC featured in the june 07 issue of super street magazine! RAYS Engineering bought the car and fitted with a kaminari kit (which looks nice by the way
) They've boosted the horses with a GReddy turbo and an Evo 2 Exhaust. Check it out if you can. if not tell me and i'll scan the pages!
They even added this:
I found that to be quite the compliment and made me quite proud to own a scion.
They even added this:
If you've been keeping tabs on the Scion scene at all, you know that the people who dedicate their loyalty to these types of cars are the hardest of core. They are, in essence, the current "Honda Civic ricers" who do all in their power to seperate themselves from the rest of the car world. Some go mad, like 5Axis, taking modification beyond the point of no return; others do a simple take, like a lip kit or clear taillights. But no matter how extreme or tame the look, one thing's clear: their "look" really unites them as purists--"Scion extremists", we say.
i dont like that comment, doesnt seem like its a nice thing to say.
they say that we are more into exterior mods, which isnt even true(for me at least), and to compare us to honda civic ricers?
super street is still my favorite mag, but i didnt like the article.

its not a bad thing, any recoginition is good recognition in my book, but the way they phrased it was the bad thing.
also, i believe it was either modified mag, or superstreet that had an article in it which stated:
"a tuner is not simply someone who adds body kits and accessories to make their car look good, a tuner is someone who adds performance to their car." or something like that
i completely agree with that statement, i do not believe you are a tuner if all you do is body/ice.. a tuner is someone who can work miracles in the engine bay.
the tC in the mag did look nice, didnt know they made time attack g-games, and the kaminari kit.. bleh played out already,

I like the comment. I think agree with MOST of it. I like how they called us owners purists, and extremely loyal and proud. I am all three of those. However, they could have left out the honda ricer comment, that was just cold blooded!!
