Default TRD "honeycomb" style grille?

does anyone think TRD will produce a grille like the one for the matrix?

or something that would match our stock lower grilles?

I wanna get rid of my white grille, and more importnatly, that UGLY scion
logo. whomever thought up the design behing that logo has very little tast
IMHO.

any photos of good looking black grilles?

I'd entertain any black grill w/o a logo on it, but matching the honeycomb on the lower grills would be great!

chucksu, you know where to get blank or toyota centercaps for stock 9 spoke wheel covers?
gonna try for a toyota rebadge, and those center caps have to go...

Sorry I cant help you there. Yeah a honey comb grill might look good depending on how big the combs are. If you want that toyota logo on the wheels might want to see if you can find wheel covers from a toyota with 15". It wont be stock xB covers but it would be different & have that logo.

Edit: Maybe you could find these wheel covers. They might look a little odd but its a 15" wheel cover.

Grillcraft offers a matching set of mesh grills -- not the same as the stock lowers, but nice anyway. They come in silver or black.

$331.69 for 3 grills seems like a lot of cash IMO.

yeah, $340 is more than lil ole jimmie's bank acct wants to spend too!
but I bet if TRD made an upper grill, it'd be that much for one!
grillcraft stuff is real nice too. had it on my WRX

Billet grill sets are selling for that much, and billet is so-o-o-o-o passé (unless you paint it).

if you peel off the scion emblem, there is a toyota one under it. it even has the holes for the chrome logo. i suspect one from a camry should fit right on.

OK my question is why would you want Toyota hub caps instead of the Scion's. Yes I know its a Toyota but why represent Toyota on a Scion. Would be like sticking Nissan hub caps on an Infiniti or Toyota hubs on a Lexus.

But hey to each is own I guess.

i dont want toyota wheel covers. I want theScion badges off my scion ones.
I really dislike the scion logo and simply which to remove it from the vehicle.

and yes, to each their own. I can't fathom why anyone would want to mod this
vehicle for power perfromance gains, but whatever, to each their own.

Back in August, I went to the Carlisle All-Truck Nationals in Carlisle Pa. Took my Avalanche since it was a truck show and parked on the fairgrounds. Detailed the Av for a 1/2 or so and took off to see the sights and sounds of a killer show. Came back to the Av about 2 hours later only to find a blue box parked behind me. Noticed right away that this otherwise stock xB had a honeycomb upper grill!!Took a real close look to see if it was a lower grill that had been modified or aftermarket. The honeycomb was a bit smaller and was set into the stock xB grill with the middle 4 horizontal bars removed (leaving just the top and botton bar). Fit was perfect, curve was perfect, this was sweet!
So there is something out there although I haven't found it yet. If the owner of that blue box is on this forum, share!

By the way, out of more than 5000 trucks on the showfield, I counted 3 Avalanches....................................and 5 xB's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because in Japan the Infinity, Lexus, and Acura brands DO NOT EXIST, they are called by their manufacture's name. For example:
American Name = Japanese name
Lexus GS 300/GS 400 = Toyota Aristo
Lexus IS 300 = Toyota Altezza
Lexus SC300 - Toyota Soarer
Acura RSX = Honda Integra
Acura NSX = Honda NSX
Acura TSX = Honda Accord
Infinity G35 = Nissan Skyline

There are a lot of people who want to "JDM" (Japanese Domestic Market) their cars, I for one am one of them. I appreciate the form and function of most JDM cars/parts/accessories.

BTW: If you can remove the Scion badges on your hubcaps you will see Toyota or bB engraved into the plastic. Just figure out a way to remove the Scion caps.

I agree with the adding power to the xB. Why?? I think it is a waste myself. Its fun enuff just creapin it. Understand wanting the bB hubs but are they different on the bB then on the xB/ n ot sure if the JDM hubs are differnt totally. Oh and the G35 is not the skyline. Might want to relook and find out that it is a tweeked Z350 which is called the Fairlady Z. I don't believe we have anything that was a Skyline. Silvia is a different story thou. Thnk we all will agree they are the 240 series here.

Either way I am gonna go rip a hub off and scope it out now.

What do the bB alloys look like??

I think the scion logo is tight... but it looks like they ripped it off of club Space:
