Default retrofitting nissan hid kit into low beams....

well, i decided to buy brand new hid bulbs and ballasts from a guy that works at a nissan dealer for 30 bucks... does anyone know of any way to rebase the bulbs to fit into the 9006 housing? if anyone has actually done this or knows of someone that has done this let me know...i couldn't pass up the 30 dollar offer...by the way the bulbs are the d2r bulbs...

You have to take apart the headlights then start cutting away. You'll need the bezles and stuff.

your actually not doing a retro. Your just putting an OEM hid kit into your car. As far as i know for fitting it you will need to trim the edges on the bulbs to fit the 9006 socket. A relay harness will be a good thing to get. You could probally pick up one off of ebay. Just search under 9006 relay harness. $30 for bulbs and ballast? Any pics?
