Loaded my stretch frame cruiser in the xbox for the first time today. There was plenty of room and it was easier to load than my '00 Grand Cherokee. Does anyone else have a story of how much stuff or a large item they were able to load into their XB??

well the day I got mine we went to my dad's and my two older son's were in the front playing with the radio. My oldest who first did the what is that in the driveway? My new car. NO, what is that doing in the driveway? after the 10th time he asked WHY we got a box????
I got in the back seat. more room than my Tacoma Double cab. heck I had not been comfortable in the back seat of ANYTHING in a long lonnnnnnnnnnnnnng time. lots of rear legroom My son slid the seat all the way back and my legs still had room. I need to keep my hip at less than 90% as much as possible
I need a hip replacement and I am ah... morbidly under tall

I bought a 27 inch TV and a home theatre system and got them both in plus a case of water and beer. The guys at Costco were waiting with my cart for me to get my vehicle so they could help me load. They all scoffed and laughed when I pulled up, but after I popped the hatch and dropped the seats and it all fit in without a struggle, there were all rather impressed.
Today's trip to Costco was the first time I had to use the front seat. I had both kids with me, I can usually split the seat cuz my son hates going there. I had a full cart - cases of beer, water, sports drink, rockstar. COstco cases too, plus a bunch of other stuff.. I put 2 36-packs of soda on the front floorboard, side by side!
I always show the back seat to people before the front. It definitely made an impression on my friends who had finally gotten their Mini after a 6 week wait. :P

adult size mountain bikes DO NOT fit in the back... if you wanna stack them or lay them down, or whatever you can cram them in, but by no means will an internal bike rack work... I had high hopes for this...
there is a post of a guy showing that he did this, but one of them is a child's bike... I missed this fact... you need the full diagonal length to get a regular 26" mtn bike in the rear...
roof rack is the solution...

I fit my son's fully assembled toddler racecar bed in the back, I had to let down the back seats but I still got it in there!

I bought the xb for the purpose of hauling my seven foot tall double bass (biggest member of the violin family, not drums). I can go it with both rear seats folded and put the neck between the front seats or down the fron passenger and the 60 rear. I still have tons of room after that. Got the bass, my electric bass, two suitcases, three bags, and my wife for a 250 mile drive.
