Ok so i got pulled over for my exhaust... i actually wrote a thread on it but anyways... i need some people to give me decible readings on their exhaust... the ones i definitely need are the Tanabe Concept G, TRD, and the stock tc exhaust... i think it would definitely help me out in court because the law states that aftermarket exhaust cannot be louder than factory exhaust... but do they know the readings? no... so i need some help! if someone could hook me up with some readings that would be awesome! thanks!

 

What are you trying to prove? There's no way to convincingly manipulate the dB of the stock exhaust on a reading. And even if the TRD is as loud, it wasn't stock, even if it is a factory option.

Dawg, VA owns us. I went to my military school out there and you can get a ticket for cussing on the strip. They can have window tint on the front windows though I do believe, but yeah they have us by a long shot.

Yes, I'm located in Miami, but San Diego is home. I'm just stationed in Florida (and leave when I can).

 

wow that's strange I've had a couple of cops compliment(sp?) me on my exhaust. None of them said anything about being louder than stock.....that sucks....

 

don't know how far away from laytonsville, md you are, but if you want, i have my stock exhaust that you can have if you come and get it. then you can pass whatever inspection you need to pass.
