Do you guys think its worth buying used sways? My friend is willing to sell them to me for $120 for Front and Back. Should I get them?

i'll let you know as soon as i have mine installed. i'm going from a trd rear sway to front and rear hotchkis. but i have heard great things about them, and that is a great price. but the front one is expensive to install because you have to drop the sub-frame.

that's a really good deal. at that price, most people are only getting the rear sway. just make sure that you're willing to spend alot of time/money installing the front sway.

front sway isnt as hard as most people make it out to be.. just take your time and read the directions, install should go relatively smoothly.

and thats a VERY GOOD deal.

i dont have sway bars on my car, but i helped a friend intsall them on his car.

he hasnt called me up or anything telling me he had problems so im not too sure if it hits the midpipe.

it shouldnt tho, it looked like there was enough clearance. btw it was the hotckis bars we put in, so maybe you have a different brand(st)?

and 909 to the fullest :P

yes used is the same as new, its just a hollow bar. even if its really scratched up. if you need a new set of brackets and bushings, you can order those seperate from hotchkis. good deal, get it.

just buy em before he decides to either sell them to someone else or up the price, that's hella-cheap

they make all the difference on this car, and they are adjustable, so if you want to keep semi-stock-like handling you could keep the front on medium and the rear on soft and it would have a nice neutral setup that won't cause any negative effects like bump-steer or traction skipping (where you hit a bump mid-corner and it sends force to not only the one wheel, but transfers it to the other causing differences in traction ability)

BTW you shouldn't have mentioned his name, I'm sure he's getting all kinds of PM's now on here about them
