I was doing some research today, and its pretty close between TRD and Gold Line. Whats your input? If it's other than, please state what and why?

H-Techs for cushy ride.. goldlines for handling and stance. scionspecialtiesvegas (Bill) has a sale, 159 shipped for goldlines)

I further agree for teins. the h-techs are awesome. And how did you come down to TRD vs. Goldline. The differences are noticeable.

I depends how low you want to go. Without knowing, there's no way to properly vote...

Springs:

Eibach Springs 1.6"F/2.0"R
Espelir Springs 40mmF/45mmR
HKS Springs 54mmF/57mmR
Hotchkis Springs 1.4"F/1.6"R
RS*R Springs 2.0"F/?.?"R (Site im at has it listed as 1.2" but I think thats a typo & should be 2.2")
Tanabe DF210 2.2"F/2.0"R (Might be listed backwards?)
Tanabe NF210 1.7"F/1.2"R (Might be listed backwards?)
Tein High Tech 1.1"F/0.9"R (Might be listed backwards?)
Tein S Tech 1.7"F/1.5"R (Might be listed backwards?)

Might be some others & all this stuff I got from http://www.optionwagon.com/store/index.php?cPath=22_31_48 so there is a lot more out there. All depends on how low you want to go.

I got H-tech's installed by Stylis for my wife's xB, she seems to like it a lot. More comfortable ride, especially on 680 since she works in Pleasanton. Subtle drop to avoid scraping on speed bumps. And all this without any sacrifice to the handling. I would have to recommend these or the S-Techs if you want a lower drop and a little better handling than the H-Techs.

As far as the difference between the TRD and Goldlines, I've read the ride is really stiff on the TRD with a drop similar to the H-Techs and the Goldlines are comfortable, good drop, and still has good handling. I guess the best thing is to keep going out to more meets and then test ride in peoples rides with different springs.

If you want to feel out the H-techs, I have my wife's car for the rest of this week until Friday and I work in Santa Clara. PM me if you want to try them out.

Stylis installed my Goldlines and I love em. Never scrape on anything but my sharply steep driveway. I haven't ridden in anything except mine when it was stock.

TRD springs are only 1 inch drop and will probably cost you more... I wouldn't put them in 2nd place on the list, there's lots of good quality springs out there.

Tein S-Tech works for the way I drive... mostly just cruising cool... and when I have to kinda like a frogger crossing the road in and out of traffic...

I love 'em!

Thanks for all the input. I was just wondering and to open my options. I picked these too, because like I said earlier. When I did a search, these two were kinda close as to what others had on their car.

Since putting Tein H-Techs on my box a few weeks ago, I've been very happy with them. I'd echo the other positive remarks that were made in previous posts.

Right now I'm driving myself, wife and mother-in-law around, and this last weekend my son was here visiting - all 4 of us made it over everything except one abnormally steep driveway (which had dozens of gouge marks in it from other cars) where we scraped a bit.

The ride is overall great even with the added load.
