how do people like this sleep at night?

2 psi at 8000 rpms? yeah, that'll happen...right before the engine explods.

Hahahahahah thats so lame. Thats soooo Honda Civic JDM yo!!. He even includes a $10 performance chip as an added bonus. If the people who buy this think a $10 chip is expensive and they're getting a great deal with this crap, shouldnt look at REAL perfomance chips lol.

He even calls actual superchargers and turbochargers inefficient old models lol.

And the best part is there is no need for a expensive boost controller or a hard to work turbo timer, any extra cooling items or any other confusing equipment to make you car look gaudy.
hahahahahaha

so theres no way an electric motor could have enough power to force enough air to gain hp? not even a lil?

well, somebody keeps posting about a video of a tc on a dyno with a leaf blower connected to the intake making extra 20 hp or something.

but this is a complete piece of junk. it is like one of those little mini hand held fans blowing air into your intake. it isn't going to speed up airflow that much, and another major part of super/turbo chargers is that they don't just suck in air, but they are actual compressors, this does not compress air, it just blows it in. it will do nothing. i mean, 7 to 15 hp at 8000 rpms? ever hear of a tc revving that high? 2 psi of boost?

your engine is already pulling in air like a vacuum, a fan will do nothing to make it pull in air faster, neither off the line, and then at higher speeds when air is pouring in through the intake, the fan would actually HINDER air flow because i'm not sure how fast the air is that that thing will blow, probably say...10 mph at most? so once your above 10 mph, that fan is actually obstructing airflow because it would have to start spinning at extremely high rpms to start seriously forcing air in.

atleast that is what i theorize.

Not really no. This is all crap. If anything you get like 1-2 hp, if anything. Do you think 1-2 hp is worth $100? To get the amount they advertise you need to be at about 8000 rpm. How often do you rev that high?

there is 1 electric supercharger that is the real deal. instant hp and torque and about a 100hp gain. this unit pulls over a 100amps and can only be used for like 15seconds. (like a nitrous shot) they are the real deal and expensive.

www.boosthead.com

there is also the e-ram. this unit is a bit crappy but it does make a real world 1psi of boost. unit pulls about 60amps and blows major cfm. i've seen these things make 20whp on the dyno.

i'm just shedding some light..
