You would have to pull off the dash, which isnt an easy task but can be done, and id recommend these:

no you dont have to pull off the dash... follow these steps
left side:
below the switch pannel is a pull off section of the dash, pull that off.
once that is done you can push the switch pannel out from the back, do this next
After that put your hand in the slot where the switches were and feel up, thats the vent. Push up on this and eventually the vent will begin to pop out.
Once the vent begins to pop out, help it along with the other hand from the outside. Be carefull not to break the pannel on the front of the vent peice. With enough wiggling the whole thing will come out.

Right Side:
You will do this one the same way, but it is harder.
Open the glove box, There will be a gap inbetween the top of the glovebox and the dash. fit your fingers back in this gap (it helps to have small hands, you can move the box open and closed to try and find the biggest gap possible), once youf hand is in there, push up as with the left side, helping from the outside with the other hand.
This side is going to take more wiggling than the other side, but will eventually pop out just like the left side.

After you do this you can easily mount your led's, and run wires.

Goodluck, PM for additional questions
and btw, be careful, the coverpiece for the vent brakes easily, dont try and pry it out with a flathead from the front, without helping it in the back as well.
Do at your own risk.

one more thing, i wouldnt reccomend the led flex strips, just get 2 leds, drill holes and mount them. The strips are hard to mount back there and make it harder to see the road as they are too bright. Either way, equinox is right, oznium is the way to go
