I can't seem to find the option on the website. What is the size of the sub and how does it hook up. Would it plug in directly into the factory radio?

It will go directly into the Premium HU.

Is it carpeted? I need to see some higher res pics, as it is, I'm not keen on the way that looks.

Can't seem to find the Bazooka Bass Unit anywhere on the Scion Website. Where can I order the unit?

Shouldn't they put it in the holes on the C-Pillars?

For those of us that bought the base stereo, is installing this even going to be possible?

It will not be a problem with any of the new units.

FYI:

This is a factory option, I'm picking up my 2008 xB (White) today and already worked out a deal for the xB sub package. I went with the base stereo and I've been assured that the sub will work with the base unit without issue.

I traded my '05 tC for the xB and they forgot to include the tC's factory sub on the appraisal. I told them I'll be taking it out of the tC before trading it.

They *really* wanted the tC sub with the deal, so they discounted the xB sub by 50% (It lists for $429 plus install). They're saying mid-June for delivery on the sub.

The tC's sub was adequate, you can get much better aftermarket subs for similar cash, but you can't beat the ease of integration with a factory sub.

So, call me lazy ;-)

What are the specs on this thing?

Its kind of an expensive sub. The conviencence of its integration alone is almost worth the price. But i'd really like to know some more about it.

I have a sub already and I don't want to install it if this one is going to be a better one. The sub I already have is the powered bazooka that was the factory option for the xb1.

Thanks for any information!

Is it just me or is Scion doing a crap job of getting info out on the 2nd gen xB accessories?

I've been hounding my dealer for a week about this sub and I'm getting nothing back.

Scion is supposed to be all about catering to those who wish to customize their rides, but no one has any info on exactly how we go about doing it?

More marketing BS...

I'm more than willing to give them a break, but I was promised it would be installed when i picked up my xB.....nearly 2 weeks ago.

Now that I've taken delivery there's no word on when it's going to be available.

I'm also sitting on a $210 credit for the sub I traded in with my tC that wasn't included on my lease buyout.

Had they been upfront about it when I signed the purchase order, you wouldn't hear a peep out of me.

Walk a block in my shoes before asking for sympathy for poor lil Scion...

^^ thats the issue with your dealership and their lack of knowledgeable people.... it's not completely Scion's fault.

I also thought there was supposed to be a sub option for those holes in the C-pillar.

I'm waiting to find out. If I can get the dealership to install nice looking subs in those C-pillar spots then I'll get them. If there isn't a C-pillar sub option then I'm just going to get the cheap-o-looking C-pillar storage nets from the Sparks website.
