Default Steering Wheel Radio Controll Port Question

so, i just pulled off the SW radio controll module to wrap the silver part in CF Vynal and perform an led swap, only to find an unused cable port on the back. I was just curious if anyone knew what this was. The module dosnt appear to be complicated enough to need additional programming from a seperate port, so the only thing i can think of is scion incorporated a port for aftermarket HUD's. That dosnt seem very likely to me however, if anyone knows im interested...

BTW, i did a search and came up with nothing, sorry if this has been covered
