Default Finally got pics from my accident

Hard to belive this did $7400 worth of damage... The most expensive thing is the sub-frame has to be replaced. Can't wait till I get it back! (The accident wasn't my fault btw)

Subframe? Replace? $7400?

Wow, I'm surprised that wasn't totaled! Looks like someone might have run a red light or something and hit you. That sucks.

There's actually 3 pages of stuff being replaced or repaired. Yeah, I wanted it totaled b/c I'm afraid of what will happen down the road, but I guess Progressive will decide to do that later if I have to keep bringing it back (repairs have to cost more than the car is worth for Progressive to total it). All repairs are guaranteed for life thank God!

The guy I hit lost control on the interstate and did a 180 and came right for me. Scary stuff! I'm just glad I was only going 55 - usually it's more like 75-80.

Actually, I kinda did a little. Ended up with head contusions b/c my seatbelt didn't lock in time and I came outa my seat and hit my head on the top of my car. I basically bounced all around in my seat... slammed into the door, hit my head, slammed my knees into the dash. I'm good though. I can almost stand to put my hair up again!

Yeah, I just can't wait to get my baby back! I'm driving my grandparents chevy caprice until it's fixed. Talk about self image...

Guys, if you don't have it, add rental coverage to your ins policy!

I'm not gonna sue, but I do have scion looking into the design. Apparently the seatbelt tensioners only work in certain impacts (of which mine should be added!)

Thanks. Care to elaborate on the commercial? I haven't seen it. Just curious

Since you were not at fault, then the other driver's insurance should cover a rental for you tc_girl.

Sounds kinda like something my dad had told me one time. He was driving on 75 north in ATL running about 65 mph and a miata passed him as it was doing 360's.

It would, but I would have to pay first and then be reimbursed. Since my car will take 2+ weeks to repair, I can't afford that, partially b/c I went ahead and bought my Goodyear Eagle gs-d3's so I could get them mounted by Progressive's repair shop for free!

Was that miata incident pretty recent? I saw a pretty messed up one at the same yard mine was towed to. I wrecked getting on 75N from 285.

Nah, that story was from about....'98 or so. I'd hit that guys insurance up (or get progressive to do it for you) and tell them that's unacceptable and they should not only pay for it ahead of time, but have it all set up for you to just go by and pick up the car at the rental place. 285 E or W? People suck on that 285E ramp to 75N. Not sure on the 285W-75N one.
