Default custom turbo?

i'm trying to figure out what's the best turbo setup for my 07tc manual
would love to get some help/tips from here
i'm thinking of t28 garette w/ hondata and 550cc injec for just 8psi daily runner
so i'm going to need:
header--->
intercooler -->
downpipe--->
oil line--->
BOV---> HKS?
i know i'm missing a lot
what else do i need to complete the work prior to tuning
"--->" place recommended brand name
how long you think my setup will last if i only...let say....push it hard once every week?

Dont take this the wrong way but ur best bet is gonna be to go with a full turbo kit instead of trying to peice stuff together, where do you come up with hondata?

I was going to try and do a custom setup but for only saving say $1000 at the most and theres still tunning and tweaking.

If you go with a kit then you will just have to bolt things up and if you have a pretunned Emanage (which is your best bet) then you wont have to get it tuned right away. It is much easier and less stressfull than building your own. You can go to dezod.com and they will let you customize your kit.

Ummmm.... yeah... I guess that'll work... maybe....

I hope you were using HONDATA as a generic term for ENGINE MANAGEMENT, if so, you are on the right track. If not, you need more help than this forum can provide.

Well everybody, lets see what he has to say. so can hondata be used with other car manufaturers other than hondas, it would be sick if it could be used on our tC's its the best you could use on a honda!

Nothing wrong with a custom set up if you know what you're doing but because of the hondata statement i'm going suggest a kit. Look into a ZPI stage 0 kit if you're on a budget.

hey guys,
i see that you guys dislike my hondata statement with a passion
but i know this dude running with hondata already with only 5.5psi
and it seems to have a nice tunning that run better than a zpi 7psi kit [stage I right?]
i'm not trying to fight for hondata or anything
i'm here for suggestion
i'll look into dezod, that sounds like a good idea
btw hondata is an ems just like aem has it for all cars
for zpi, not to be rude, i only have interest in their 6sp lsd trans to come, and piston/rod they make it sound so good on their advertisement
what do i need to look into other than the turbo and the ems
any trick and tip?....

LOL. i guess u better start doing some research on the SCION man. Hondata is not the way to go i guess, maybe if you would like some headache then go HONDATA on the TC.
but other managements have already been proven, and worked well.

Pulled from thier website

The application selection wizard shows what Hondata products are available for your vehicle.

Please select your vehicle model:

Accord
Civic
Del Sol
Integra
Prelude
RSX
S2000
TSX
If your vehicle is not listed above, then Hondata does not offer any ECU upgrades for that model. A Heatshield may be available for your vehicle.
