Default xb, here i come....

test drove an 04 xb last night at the dealer. it had pretty much every option i would want on mine. it had the 18's, the trd springs, aem intake, trd exhaust. strut bar, interior led, upgraded sound system, and an auto. it was black cherry and had the scion graphic on it. it drove great, for being lowered and on 18's it was pretty smooth. we took a test drive on the highway and through twon, crossing railroad tracks and what have you. i must say that im not too impressed with the pick up, sometimes it felt like i wasnt moving until i looked at the speedo and it was reading 60. but im not buying one for speed, im buying on for its mpg and style. the trd exhaust was pretty loud inside the cab, not that audible out side, it didnt have that ricey ***** to the wall groan that all those other fart pipes have. it sounded great. i was also very pleased with the amount of interior space. i drive a 99 chevy blazer right now and the amount of room inside, seemed or appeared to be more spacious than my blazer. again after reading the forums on here, i will agree that a armrest is needed, but thats what the aftermarket is for. i was also very very pleased with the sound system, the bazooka tube hits pretty nice, and is just right for the size of the scion. but i mean im 6'5 and around 350 and i was pretty damn comfortable in it, and my friend went with me on the test drive and he is around 6'1 and 330. we had plenty of room between the two of us in the front seat. so i was happy with the amount of room it had.

needless to say i am sold on the scion and plan on placing an order for one within the next 3 weeks. ill probably go with the automatic considering i commute to the city 5 days a week and driving a stick at 6 in the morning on a monday will and would be pretty damn rough.

If you want more pick up get a stick feels like a totally different car. I also drive at 6 in the morning and really driving stick becomes habit more then thinking about it. But thats another subject...you made a good choice on the xB its a great little car..

The clutch is so light that driving in traffic isn't a problem. Go for the stick. Faster, better MPG, and more FUN!
