Default Bouncing Boost gauge

My boost gauge bounces at idle ( Autometer Colbalt Series II mechanical ) anyone know how to fix it ? I have it tee'd off half way between the evac and throttle body. Would moving it closer to the throttle body help ?

Mine does it at around 25% or less throttle while cruising, not accelerating.

Where do you have it tee'd off ? my friend has a v2 autometer sportcomp mechanical and his does'nt bounce like his old megan gauge did. His is tee'd by the throttle body I guess that must be it. Oh well time to start cutting again

They bounce because your vsv valve is on the same line and it pulses vacume which casues your boost gauge to bounce.

I guess the only way to get it not to bounce is to runn a seperate line from the intake manifold. First I will switch the bypass and gauge, the bypass is the first from the throttle body.
