so how is it much better then the 1st gen or what???

idk care really, i just want to know if they improved it on the 2nd gen...

 

Don't have a 1st gen, but it works great, it's a big space to cool.

My biggest issue is that anything higher than #2 fan speed it can be pretty loud. Other than that no problems

 

Yes it is much improved. The cool down time is much faster now.There is even ventilation now for the rear passengers under the seats. How much better? I used to max blast it constantly before. Now I turn it a couple clicks to warmer because it gets too cold. The vents are much more effective and maneuvarable in the xB2 as well.

 

well my xA has those floor vents for the rear passengers also...

 

compared to my 1st gen xB the new one's AC is about a million times better.

 

my 1st gen has vents under the seats for the rear passengers.

 

I took my first drive in the new xB today in Savannah, GA. It was only 80 degrees, but the a/c was very cold and I never set the fan above 1 with the temp full cold. I seriously considered backing off the temp while I was driving it.

Anyway no worries about the a/c in these cars.

 

I second Randy's opinion...Drove his new one the other day and I must say the a/c in the 2nd gen kick a$$...My 1st gen a/c SUCKS!
