Had the body shop TCM paint the outside of my weathertech bug shield.

I also put strobes in 3rd bay of the tail lights (normally empty). These are on helix tails but can be done on stock tails as well.

Seriously...yes. It is gonna chip, you are right. It was a $100 solution to this summers problem. By next year someone will make a clear one that can be painted from behind. Until then....[
