2 12's and 2 amps? that's nothing... when it comes time to redo my trunk, i'll be fitting 2 10's, 2 amps, 2 10" monitors, and a nitrous bottle

yeah noe but your system looks like ____... boy that felt good lol. your glow is godly, but the system is ugly... i want the box to look like it fits in there, not just be a box... and i want the rear seats to still recline.

the seats are already semi-reclined, and i can recline them full if i wanted to.... i just need to pull the box towards the rear of the car more.

As i said before, this is just a temp thing until i can find some time to do some glasswork (i'm moving into a house here in the next month or two, and i'll finally have a garage to work on it in).

and to fix your cosmetic issues, just extend the box wider and make it a wedge design sorta like
/l
_

so that the seats can fully recline w/o having to move the box.

to really make the system look like a part of the car though, you're going to need glass. straights + angles made with wood dont flow well with teh curves of the car.

4-5 cubic feet is a BIG box shoved int the back of a tC....

figure a rough size for soemthing like you have laid out... 24" tall (from hatch floor up), 15" wide (from left to right), and 30" long (front to back) and that will get your ~4.5 cubi feet of airspace. That is sealed though... if you want it ported, the box has to be even larger to account for hte port area and such.

Did you mean "truck" or trunk?

Wow. You come here for help, then bash the IDEA for the install he gave you. If you don't like the execution (re: quality of work), avoid making degrading comments...that's the antithesis of a forum. "If you've got nothing nice to say, don't say anything..."

That being said, here's how we installed (2) 12"s in the spare tire well:

The amplifiers are mounted behind the rear speaker grilles.

I think thats the worst thing I've ever seen that was said to Harrison... Why ask if you just want bash? You asked for a 2 sub system. I don't see any room to bash here...

and as for my system, Its going to be all glass and the build will begin June 10th! :D
