So I'm fairly new to Ebay and I was wanting to purchase a set of tails for my tC, of course I've read from various forums that there are a few 'fake' Anzo tail lights going around Ebay and I just wanted a few suggestions on who I should buy some Smoked Anzo Tail lights from.

So far I've found:

I bought my anzo tail from motorblvd and it was one of best transaction I ever had on ebay, fast shipping and he even sent me a tracking number for a convenience. Anyway the box doesn't say Anzo, it was something like eagle eye or something, I believe that's who makes anzo tails.

 

i really don't think there are such thing as fake anzo.....lol

one thing you want to make sure is to contact them to make sure that they're in stock first.....

 

Pro Exhaust suckkS!!-I bought some halo projector headlights from them for my lancer ralliart-the driver side halo never worked..and the passenger side headlight just stopped workin one day!!

 

I got mines from K2motor because I know the address to the warehouse so I was able to pick up my item.

Do NOT buy from kazespeed. Paid for Anzo-style tails from them on eBay almost two weeks ago. Hadn't received them and now they're saying they're out of stock and it'll be another 1-2 weeks - even though they have the EXACT SAME tails listed for another auction right now on eBay.

Waiting for a refund from kazespeed and thinking about trying another vendor.

I recently bought Smoked Anzo tails from gt_racers and recieved them within that same week. I definitely recommend this seller now!

 

i ordered thru k2motor and received a defective tail light. I've been trying to contact them about it and I'm getting the silent treatment...

 

the place that sells it brand new for teh cheapest is the best.

it gets there when it gets there.. I just paid a little over 300 for a tanabe concept g exhaust while the rest were at least $50 more and shipping was slow but it got here, took like a week and a half but whatever, id rather wait a few extra days than spend a few extra bucks.

Buying aftermarket is such a crapshoot, eBay or not. It's a good thing about this forum that we can steer business to good companies and warn off from the scheisters.

 

Update: After receiving my refund request e-mail yesterday, kazespeed replied today saying they ... "found" ... a set of tails and they're in FedEx right now.

The tracking number seems to be valid and part should arrive tomorrow. The funny thing is the tails were delivered to FedEx the same day they e-mailed me the tails were out of stock & it would be another 1-2 weeks.

(Can only imagine what's in the box, probably broken tails for a Yugo ... )

I actually went right to the dealership (but the parts and service building) and ordered them. They were $24. each and only took about two days to come in. They come with adhesive on the back and stick really well. I just suggest heating the adhesive with a hair dryer or heat gun to make it extra sticky before you place it on your car. I've blasted mine with a pressure washer and they won't budge. Heh. You also can order them from a site I found, they actually are a little cheaper but I didn't find the site until AFTER I bought them (of course).

I'm not sure how fast your shipment was from gt_racers, but it's 10 days and nothing yet...
