I tryed lookin so Admins if this has been posted direct me in the correct direction.

I drive a windy road to work everyday an I have noticed takin it at 60 with a stock suspension the back end slides around corners a lil too much for me, the VSC light comes on and it starts beeping franticly. Mind you this is on the stock tires too. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this or experience with this?

I'd get new tires... the stock tires don't grip very well... Some Z, Y, or W tires will do you good...but they won't last as long. Also, maybe buy the Hotchkis sway bar kit...

In my xA, my rear tires squeel a lot... in the rain, I lose traction and slide a lot.. :twisted:

Yeah new tires. Maybe some springs, shocks, sway bars depending on how much you want to dish out. If you dont want to spend a dime then I might just suggest you slow down a little so that does not happen. :roll:. Also maybe some bigger wheels & tires, so you get more contach pach & less side wall.

lower profile tires/stickier tires are nice too.

ok. Not sure what you got so I will just list off stuff that will help. The amount of help might not be great, but it might help.

1. Front Upper Strut Bar.
2. Front Lower Arm Bar.
3. Rear Upper Strut Bar.
4. Rear Lower Subframe Tie Bar.
5. Front Sway Bar.
6. Rear Sway Bar.
7. Struts / Shocks.
8. Springs.
9. Tires.
10. Light Weight Wheels. (Reduces unsprung weight so suspension works better.)

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head. For all this be looking near I would estimate $2000 or so.

Definitely upgrading your tires would be a good first step!

You just need to put a really big fat guy in the back seat for ballast...

I would think the fat guy in the back = bad. It might give more weight but if he moves some it will cause a big weight shift. :shock:

Thats a Very Disturbing Picture. I'm just not used to the light weight of the box. My old 626 v6 had Tokico Hi-Perf Struts in the front and some nice shoes. That _____ got through snow an would tear up the back roads. I just didn't think the springs and struts and sway bars would keep the back end from breakin loose like a NASCAR driver on a bad day.

My friend is into autoX with his lancer (mirage) and we thought it be interesting to see how the box would do in it after seeing how I handle "traffic calming devices". So any pointers in that area would be appricated :twisted:
