Here are a few shots for the ones still looking for pictures. I know there are a bunch up on here already from promo shots but this is the lowest numbered one i have seen yet. Let me know if you have one lower than #30. If so you are a PIMP!!

Once looking at the pictures I will say:

1.) Needs to be lowered a little. To much wheel gap.
2.) I like that front grill.
3.) The wheel style is ok, but should have just left a open option to leave them off.
4.) I never noticed how big that rear antana is
5.) The package should be cheaper. The color is only rare in the states, but does not cost more to make it that color. So you are just getting Sunroof, wheels, Spoiler & front grill for that cost. The color & seat fabric can be had on the IST normaly. Might have a few more things.
6.) I just dont see paying $2,200 for that IMO. Looks good.

Yeah I know that to. Im unsure if that stuff is stock on the IST though because I cant read Japanese but I can make out some of it. This page: http://www.toyota.co.jp/Showroom/All...nu/safety.html So if its stock there its just more BS they make us pay for here.

I dont think you get wheels with the package- I believe they are optional just like on the rs xB

Oooops, My bad you do get 17" wheels with the package- But at $2,200 for the package- Thats a rip...

A toyota sunroof from the factory is usually a $800-900 option....But how much more does it cost to add VSC, and a grill and rims??

Then that price is even more crazy. I just took a look at the Japan site & saw a base 1NZ-FE IST runs for 1,491,000Yen so that like $13,5xx or so. Not much more then a stock USA xA but they get more then we do .

Yeah I dont think it cost that much to add the stuff. I have some funny links here. They are translated versions of the japan site. I just hope they work. I say its a funny read because of the way it translates some of the things.

Active Saftey Stuff:
http://www.systranet.com/systran/net...ety/index.html

Options: Seems VSC & TRC are 80,000Yen options.

it would've been better if they left the wheels out and lowered the price. One of the funnest things is adding your own wheels to the car instead of wheels comming with the car. Thinking of getting an RS but not sure anymore. Maybe one can sell the rims and have that money go towards rims they actually want. How much would those rims go for, if to be sold??? out of curiosity...

Good point.. I bet you could only get 600-800 for the rims.. if you found a buyer. They're prolly skinny with a crappy offset. I agree, take the rims out of the deal and save people that cash.

EDIT: wow, I'm good. The closest match I could find (two searches ) are here:

The wheels are a $1600 option from my dealer. The original price for the package was $1395 before the wheels were added. 2200-1400=800 $800 bucks for the wheels and tires is not that bad considering you can finance them with the car.

Buy the way, the sunroof is not an available option. An aftermarket electric sunroof installed in Atlanta goes for $1500. Who knows what Scion would charge for the VSC? The spoiler is an $385 option.

sunroof $1500
spoiler $ 385
wheels $1600
VSC ?
Sport Grill ?
_____________
total $3495+

Not counting the red color and other RS1.0 additional stuff and the fact that you have 1 of 1500 it looks like a good deal to me.

I should pick up mine next week. It's has be delayed due to the hurricanes

The cost for the sun roof should not be that high. The guy with the big glass roof got his + install for $1,800 & he knows he got ripped on that cost.

All I know is a local guy in my area paid $1500 for a install "factory look" electric sunroof for his XB. Its a great looking package and was done very well. It's not some cheap add on that only pops up. Even if you could get one installed for $800 - $900 thats still $2785 for the sunroof, spoiler and wheels. Do the math, $2200 is still a deal for all the options.

Buy the way, I just ordered a set of H&R sport springs for the XA.

Check out my registry for a photo of my Lava with the same wheels and H&R springs.

Yeah I guess thats true. It still just seems to high. Should just leave the wheels off in my mind.

Edit: I guess it is over all a good deal. If the VSC & TRC go for 80,000Yen then thats about $730 right there.

Look at it this way:

Comparable Wheels : $800
Sunroof: : $1100 (at least, since it's aftermarket, not factory)
Rear Spoiler: : $385
Front Grill: : $300 (Average Price)
VSC/Traction: : $700 (low because I've already proven my point)

TOTAL: : $3285

So, even is my #'s are off a bit, the RS 1.0 package is still a good deal, and for those of you who don't like the wheels, take $800 off my total ($3285-$800) and it equals $2485 (and to get regular steelies w/hub caps you'd have to add $100 back to the car), so you'd be back up to 2585.

Any way you look at it, it's a good deal, plus you're getting a car that not too many other people have, which to some, as those cheesy Mastercard commercials say, is Priceless...
