Default sub question

whats a good low budget sub/amp to go with for a tc? im gonna get a system in july probably if not sooner but i kinda dont know what to get.
im looking at dual rockford p3's atm but i been reading up and somepeople say rockfords are kitty cats until u get in to the "t" and they cant get real low frequencies.

also im looking at the ed stealth designs but i dont see their stealth box for 2 subs so anybody else got any suggestions?
I'm a lil cheapskate so ima install it all myself
if i can ima buy off of crutchfield
most im gonna be willing to spend on this is a 1000 to 1500(overtime and a hell of a lot of internet surveys)
i know nothing about amps besides 5 minutes worth of how to install them so if u know a good sub/amp combo that would be great too

oh yeh and for those who followed my last thread my dads gonna let me get a system but as long as i dont cry to him like a lil beotch if it gets stolen

my buddy has an eD SQ10 underseat setup in his xB... sounds great Definitely doesnt get anywhere near my 2 JL's, but definitely rattles the passenger

i'd say something like....

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...products_id=45 for the amplifier (bridged)

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=465 S4 version

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=132 for your amplifier wiring

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=175 a couple feet of that to wire the sub

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=235 RCA cable

http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/pro...roducts_id=401 if you're running the stock headunit

and that should be it... sub, box, amp, wiring, rca's, LOC = done

x2, I just got the SQ10 and the tC box, and the new NiNe.5 amp ...

if its bought before july you'd be looking about $650 for those 3, and easily have money left over for components and RCAs and all wiring.

Elemental Designs!

subs are 90% install.

Doenst matter if you pay 700 bucks for A W7 is will sound like but in the wrong box. I had an Infinity that sounded better than A W7 in the wrong box (to small) We took the W7 and put it in a 3cube box ported to 30hz ,killed the infinity.

all install

sort of, the gain conrol is NOT a volume ****,it adjust sensitivty to the signal coming from your head unit. I allways turn my gians all the way down.

You can turn your gians low to produce less sensitivy thus lower output
