ordering my turbo...gauge questions
within the next week im going to order the treadstone turbo kit for my car. all i need after that is gauges....wideband, boosty and oil pressure. im going to get the aem wideband, but i was just wondering what types of boost gauges/oil pressure gauges otheres with FI are using and how well/reliable they work. i msure theyre all just as good i was just hopingthat some of u could point me in the right direction.
I myself went with the AEM WB02 and Defi Boost and will be getting the Defi Oil Temp gauge. AEM gauges were a tad too high for me. I LOVE my Defi blue racer gauge. I highly recommend them
Check out egauges.com for good pricing.

I was looking at the seitronix, but it does not do oil pressure.
I went all AEM...tru boost, wideband and oil pressure. Kinda pricey, but I trust AEM.
You could go with autometers as well. much less expensive and they have all sorts of styles and types.

thanks for all the replies everyone. im in the same boat as jrod, i want high quatlity but at the same time i dont want to have to spend$300 on each gauge.
as for the zeitronix, where can u get it, and how much does it cost?

i can honestly tell you, even my tuner agrees, this thing rocks. keeps away from the ricer look (if you have pillar pod gauges no offense its just my opinion, i dont like it). the zeitronix also has an egt input as well. all wrapped up into a little lcd screen that fits perfect in the cubby. now oil pressure is the only thing it is missing, but if you make sure all of your connections are fastened tightly you should not run into an oil pressure issue. on top of this when you data log it its everything is logging top to bottom, so you will have say afr at the top, boost right below it, rpm below it. so you can highlight say 3325rpms and see exactly what your boost, egt afr was at this exact rpm. its extremely accurate. i think it will run 500 for everything, and its extremely easy to install. if you pm me i can send you a copy of one of my data logs so you can get your own opinion, but i can promise you will love it. i should be a sales rep for them lol..

like i said, if you want to see what its datalog looks like pm me your email address and i will send one of my runs as a datalog. the only thing you wont see is the egt log since ive only recently installed that portion of the sensor. the software can be obtained from their website.
I think the full zeitronics with the boost and egt sensors will run $585. My 3 AEM gauges ran me $670, plus it's a boost controller. If I got the regular AEM boos gauge, it would have been $100 less. So I figured I wasn't saving any money with the zeitronics. But I've seen the data sheet with it, and it's sweet! Plus no ugly piller pod!
I think the zeitronics is the way to go if you dont' mind spending the cash and dont care about oil pressure.
I ended up getting the ATI ezpod cause I did not want the a piller pods.

I would've gone with all AEM but it was to pricey and I don't like the AEM boost..
