I am about to put some orange vinyl on the sides of my PW Xb, What wax would be good?
concerned with:
1. wax penetrating and streaking the vinyl
2. possibly weakening the glue prematurely causing lifting or peeling
3. the usual ease of application, durability, and of course shine.

I use Zymol on my garaged show car, New Finish on my hot rod, and that eagle one wipe off stuff on the wife's SUV.

none have vinyl not even pin stripes

Wax On, Wax Off.

I was told that I should wax them so that they don't fade as easily. It protects them just like the paint you put it on. The Eagle One stuff would probably work fine and be easier to use than the Zymol.

Eagle One Nanowax is not recommended to be
used on vinyl. - Eagle One

Test on your vinyl graphic first. Some vinyl graphics like the one on STG's Mach 1 the NXT Tech Wax made the vinyl graphic look better.
On some vinyl graphic material, some waxes will whiten or dull it.
So test first. A product that usually works pretty good for vinyl graphics is Meguiar's Gold Class Gold Class Trim Detailer. Wipe on a thin coat and allow it to penetrate for a few moments and then softly wipe off any excess residue using a microfiber polishing cloth. - Meguire's

Since the vinyl will be all over the XB, I'll try the NXT. Reading in their forum a common fault is using too much product.
Has anyone used Meguire's NXT? Comments appreciated.
