I know with vanity plates you have to try to spell thing within 7 letters. Like mine is "MATS XB" even though my name is spelled MATT.......

You'll recieve a notice in the mail when your plates are ready, then you have to pick them up at your local DMV office.

For some the wait can be up to 3 months. Mine took about 2 1/2 months.
