Default Considering trading in my 07

there is an RS 1.0 at a local dealership with 11k miles and they want 19k for it. how much should i get for my 07 manual with 8k miles on it (trade in)? i have 20% tint and a short antenna if that makes a difference.

unfortunately you're going to be losing a lot w/ this trade. W/ my zip, trade in is $13,5XX OUCH! I wouldnt expect more than $15,000 at the max.

Exactly! A trade like that makes me shudder you really would be losing a lot on that one. Especially with all of the mechanical improvements made to the '07 model (use search and you'll know what I'm talking about). If you really like the RS 1.0 (or any other RS for that matter) you'd be WAY better off to buy the rims, grille, paint the car, ....basically make it look like the RS, and you would be money ahead if that's the look you are going for. My thoughts are:

'07 trade-in + '05 RS purchase (for $19k?) = you just bent over for the dealer.

I'm also thinking about trading my 07 (auto) in for new 08 (manual) tc when it comes out, I will probably lose about 5k but it's so tempting.

i'm not going to do it. we messed with numbers at the dealership and you are all right. i'd be paying way too much for it. if anyone is interested in it though it's in charlottesville, va at colonial nissan.
