I was just wondering about this. How many mileage did you TC have when you pulled off the dealership's lot? I am relating to new cars of course. Used ones don't matter.

I ask this because I don't like to buy a car that's been test drove by other buyers.

I want to know the "standard" mileage for a new car like the TC. I would guess it would be no more than 15 miles. Considering they move the car from time to time and move it from the fleet truck to the dealer. The 2 TC I test drove had 4 and 8 miles. I believe that is decent.

Your time and response is greatly appreciated.

On the side note, does $700 for a TC ground effect kit installation from the stealership sound reasonable? Or is it rape? Thank.

 

Mine had 11 miles

 

Mine had 4 miles on it at time of signing papers. Those 4 miles I put on it It came in Friday night, I test drove it Saturday at 11am, it sat there til Monday waiting for the papers to finish from my insurance company. Not sure about the ground effects kit, I don't have them and have not checked prices for them either, sry.

 

Mine had 1 mile showing on the odo, but went to 2 within a couple blocks.

My dealer also had a demo car for test drives, as they wouldn't allow peeps to test drive the one they intended to buy, only the demo.

Topic has been discussed here a few times already, with some peeps posting surprisingly high numbers imo.

 

2 miles begining test drive and 5 miles after papers being signed

 

i drove it off the lot with 1 mile showing on the gauges. I had previously driven another tC but was waiting for a specific one...BCP with the OEM lip kit and lip spoiler! Mine came off the truck, had the battery charged and the keys were handed to me!

1 mile baby!!

 

My tC had less then 2 miles on the ODO

 

well, when i first got in the car, it said 1........... i put another mile on it, so i guess when i got mine i had 1 mile on it

 

4 miles! that was in august, now it has just under 13k.

 

24 miles when i got it last june, and coming up on a year i have a little over 4400

 

4 miles, which i put on it the day before from test driving it, then while i was signing the papers some jerkoff drove it, so it had 8 by the time it was paid for.

4 miles. i refused to buy a car that had been test driven, i said 5 miles or less, or order another one. It only had those miles because they went and filled it up.

 

I picked my car up with 14 miles. The only other person that drove her was the dealer coming from the holding lot to the shop.

 

mine had 9miles I guess.

 

300, drove it in from another state. Wasnt too happy about that.

 

My car was a special order, ( R.S. ) so when I and my salesman went to the storage to pick it up I had 1 mile on the odo, we drove it to the dealership ( about 2 miles from the storage ) so when i left dealer. My car had 3 miles on it.
