5axis is your only option right now...in a matter of time the market will be flooded with aftermarket parts for the 08

theres only Five axis that has the kit right now.. but letme tell you this kit fits just awsome.. just paint and mount.. No body work cutting smoothing or grinding and doors rubbing the kit in teh door jambs..

Let see if the other companties can top that. I havent seen a kit designed in great USA that fit as well as the FIve Axis kit.

get the alarm...
my car got stolen about 3 weeks ago...thats why i got the XB

so i did not want to take any chance i go the low jack and the alarm...
i was told by the dealer that if i got a after market alarm it would void my warrenty...
so would get it from the dealer...

there is no feeling like walking to your car and it not being there...

an alarm cannot void your warranty , the five axis kit fits awesome and it is poly/eurethane.

Yes, it can...kinda.

If you install an aftermarket alarm, your warranty is not automatically voided.

If, after you install the alarm, the car starts having electrical issues and shorting out because it was installed improperly, then that issue is not under warranty; nor is any resulting damage. The key is that the damage has to be caused by the alarm...if it is, that damage is not under warranty.

If, after you install the alarm, the axle snaps in half, the axle is still under warranty because the alarm had nothing to do with it.

I don't know, where you got your kit from, but the one I order is no where near good. I guess, 5Axis sent me one of the first sets, that needs work on. Which I wasn't aware of. I had to contact 5axis directly to find out about this work.

I would imagine if you got the alarm installed by a certified (mecp?) installer, they should put some kind of warranty on the work they do. My dealer said the warranty was voided if a non ASE installer was used. But i'd imagine an MECP installer would be ok?

It's a crapshoot, and it seems to pretty much depend on the dealer and how fussy they want to be.

I cant find ANY ASE certified shop near me that install alarms. In fact acording to the ASE website, the dealer itself isn't in the ASE database, which is kind of amusing.

me? I'm probably going to a place that has an MECP master installer, as I'd like an alarm that doesn't just have a shock sensor for $600.
