sick! how long have you been racing your xa?

 

since october of 04 i believe :D . the car is made for it! well, sorta. i could do with stiffer suspension, that's for sure.

 

Do you race with the Fuzion tires or the Hoosiers? I mounted a set of Lemans 195/60R15 tires on stock steel rims, they have identical compisition/tread as Fuzion tires but were cheaper. Your profile looks like the suspension should be tight with all the mods added, maybe wider spacers? I have added 1.25inch spacers on rear and 15mm on front and stock rims are flush/ fenders. Need add swaybars and bracing to mine in the future but the progressive rate springs work really well on cornering and ride like stock giving 2" drop..

my profile is out of date. i race on Hoosiers, drive on Toyo's now. i don't run spacers, my low offset wheels (+23mm) make spacers unneeded :D

don't do a front swaybar if you're interested in autocross. trust me on this, inside wheelspin is not your friend

Tanabe coilovers.. too soft..
progress rear bar... wish i had a whiteline.
ingalls camber bolts.. wish i had pillowball mounts.
TRD rear underbrace.. love it..
APR upper strut bar.. best bar on the market bar none.
Hotchkis front sway.. hate it.
OneTonGarage spacers... only way to go.
SS brake lines.. love em
Project Mu brake pads. they're alright.. honestly the stock pads worked just as well for autocross..
Team Dynamics 15X7 +23ET wheels.. i'm an offset :D

 

Clearly, the problem is that you don't have enough stickers

 

clearly i run Pastelitoracing.com magnets to rep the fastest autocross club in FL, and a no/cones sticker. just picked up a funkymonkey1049.fm set of decals so yeah my numbers are comin up

Had a little wheel action up front too!!! Look at that lift up front and appreciate the traction on one front tire in a curve

 

we (i had a co-driver for this event, see red helmet above) had a little 2 wheel action during the event but sadly was not caught on film. more to come .. but it's gonna be october as i'm co-driving an STI for the next 2 months.

 

anybody here know where you can auto cross here in cali? im about to do a complete suspension upgrade and i would love to see what my little box will be capable of
