Default Alarm & remote start using OEM transmitters

I am about to pull the trigger on an OEM add on alarm. The Hornet 727T from Directed/Viper. It uses the door lock and unlock wires to allow you to use your OEM remotes. It adds starter kill, zones, siren, active arming, and a few other things to the existing OEM keyless entry system.

I have a feeling if I find the keyless entry box that I can figure out what wires do what and do most of my wiring there. Anyone have a chart or or wire colors they can share? Where is the box at?

The OEM remote start sequence leads me to believe that the keyless entry module also has an output that can be used for any other aftermarket remote start. I don't like the auxillary output trigger for the 727T because it is too easy to trigger by accident (just needs to lock pulses). So I want to find the aux output for the OEM remote start.

Anyone have the schematics for the OEM keyless yet?

The problem with the oem remote start is after its started you cant unlock the doors anymore.

Ill have the diagram up soon when I get around to it later this week. Should be the same as the TC.

Hmm, that's interesting. I wonder what keeps the doors from unlocking? Is it the act of remote starting the car that triggers the output and disables the unlock feature? I just tried to remote start mine to see if it attempts to trigger a relay or does anything funny. But it doesn't do anything so it must know if a remote start module is installed somehow.

I'll do more research on the tC remote start module as well. Thanks!

Yes you test for this by starting the car up then hitting the buttons on your key they dont work becuase they are disabled by the ignition trigger sent to the factory keyless entry system only way around it is to find the wiring diagram from toyota on the factory keyless entry and eliminate that wire.
