hi, just some quick question i could not find answers for.
1. when you get the factory sirius rec. does that display everything on the deck or is there another screen that comes with it?

2. are the 05-06 sirius recivers the same as the 07? i know they changed the HU's but just wondering if the rec. will be the same.

Disclaimer: I have XM, not Sirius, but I would assume the setups are 90% identical.

1 - Uses the OEM deck's display. Limited to 16 characters, no scrolling.

2 - So long as the wiring connectors from the satellite unit to the head unit are the same, I don't see why it wouldn't work.

 

your lucky the sirius display only shows about 6-7 characters and thats the way it is yes it sucks but thats just the way it is, ive been into service specifically for that reason.

I have a 2006 iPod compatable deck just for reference.
