Default Cabin Air Filter??????

Ok so he's the deal....

I took my car to get an oil change yesterday and they tell me that I am missing a Cabin Air Filter - I was told that this affects the air y ou breathe in when you put on your AC or your Heat on. When I called the dealership to ask why this wasn't put in - they came up with " That is something new that is added to cars, not all cars have this feature, we suggest putting it in at 15k miles but it doesn't come with it."

This is BS!!! You're going to tell me that a car is designed and equiped to have a cabin air filter but you're not going to put it on?? This makes no kind of sense, now they're saying it will end up costing me about $60 which is nothing but come on - you're telling me that Scion is selling vehicles like this and not telling people that they're missing a filter?? That is crazy!!!!

If you're curious as to see if you have one or not - just open up your glove compartment, and pull it out - you should see a filter sitting behind your glove compartment.

This makes NO SENSE!!
