I recently spent two weeks in Paris. There were all kinds of small cars there; Pugeots, Citroëns, and Renaults, of course. Fiats, Mercedes (many Mercedes taxi cabs) and Toyota Corolla, Yaris, and even Priuses (Priusi??). And, of course, Smart cars all over; both ForTwo and the occasional ForFour running around. But no xB (or bB) models.
Why not? The xB is small on the outside and large on the inside. I would have thought it would be an ideal vehicle for running around in Paris, hauling passengers and stuff through the narrow streets and heavy traffic. Did Toyota miss an ideal market for the xB??

Je ne sais pas.
I am heading to Paris this Fall. I spent a week there a few years back. Lovely place, and I definitely concur that a tiny car is necessary within the city.

My guess is because the Scion brand is U.S. exclusive...OK, that explains the xB lack. Why no bBs there, then? The bB is, isn't it, a Toyota model?

Yes, the bB is Toyota's xB.

Maybe you can refresh my memory. I seem to recall them being sympathetic to our tragedy on 911. But maybe you're confusing their stance on the pre-Emptive strike for the invasion Iraq with the completely unrelated event that happened on 9-11-01?

Maybe the French attitude towards us was more the opinion of Chirac than the actual French people themselves ? Not sure, just throwing it out there.
