OK xA owners. Which appeals to you more, the xA or xD?

 

my xA has more personality and gets great gas mileage parts already available when the car came out!back in 'oh 3'

 

xA hands down.

 

I prefer the xA alot more, but i wish it had the hp of the xD.

 

When I heard Scion was going to be replacing the xA I ALMOST held off...but then I saw pics of the xD and decided to get the xA.

There's just something about that front end that I really don't like....

xA is an elite car now and by far the best lookin Scion.

 

It looks like they tried to "restyle" the Yaris and thats what they came up with...

 

I love my xA, though I admit I'm curious to the the xD in person. I know I'll love my little Marshmallow forever and wouldn't dream of trading her for anything (except maybe a Yaris TS, but I don't live in the UK).

 

I also much prefer the looks of the xA inside and out over the xD, and have really grown fond of the center mounted gauges! I, however, would not mind the extra power of the 1.8 liter engine!

That's funny, because I'd prefer a 1.3L or a 1.0L to get better mileage. I'd flip for a diesel.

 

xA all the way. The xD is lame!! lol

 

Sad that Toyota gave the boot to one of the more uniquely styled cars in their line-up.

im getting ready to pull up on some xd's and school them with my 1.5t

 

Stranger things have happened, though...I never thought I'd see the day when the Honda CRX was regarded as some sort of styling "classic", but evidently some think it is. I don't, and I owned 2 of them. My xA is far better looking, and overall a better car (although somewhat slower...that's OK, I'm too old to go fast anyway) in every way than the CRX.

I really don't like the xD's styling, although I guess Scion corporate had to try to come up with something that may sell better than the xA did. Too bad what they came up with looks as bad as it does, though.

 

I personally wouldn't go for the XD. The interior looks really ugly and is to rugged looking. However the HP would be nice.

I am bitter they killed the xA and not the xB... I hear alot of guys wishing the xB was badged xE or whatever. I would agree but for Scion to kill the xA completly sucks and is good at the same time...

Rare is good but liek we dident have enuff problems gettign parts made already hahaha

 

I'm upset I'll never get the chance to own one brand new, with house hunting and all. I still can't believe Scion axed both the originals. You think they'd just add the two new ones and sell 4 cars, and in two years drop the two worst sellers if they wanted to.
